  • Regarding the 6 free cinema tickets to be used within a year, if you go to a screening with some friends, are they allowed to use some of your tickets or are the tickets only for your use?

    Thanks.

Anyone can use the tickets, you can even sell them if you want to.

I was told today in my local branch that you can now make joint applications online for the Club account. I expressed doubt and they rang me back to confirm that this is now the case. However, looking on their website it says "If you already have a Club Lloyds current account or a Club Lloyds Added Value Account, you can't open another one online. If you would like to open a second Club Lloyds account, please visit your local branch or call 0845 3000 000".

Has anyone tried opening a joint online yet?

Edit: Have spoken to Lloyds HO and they say there is a long standing issue with opening joint accounts online and they don't know when it'll be fixed, so basically, we can't open a joint account (we can't both get to a branch together and my branch told me that's the only way if you open in branch).

I'm pretty sure you can open a joint account by phone. You certainly can with TSB.

You can't with Lloyds Club, which is odd, as you can with TSB.

You can, or at least you could about a month ago because I did it! You open it as a sole account and then add the joint party at the end of the application.

Did you already have a sole Club Lloyds, because if you did how did you get round opening a 2nd in sole name and then adding another party?
