Questions for the Lloyds rep:
What is the point of showing an 'offer' on someone's online account page that says:
CLUB LLOYDS
xxxxxx xxxxx (where xx... is person's actual name), AN EXCLUSIVE MONTHLY SAVINGS ACCOUNT OFFER FOR YOU Save between £25 and £400 every month and get an interest rate of 4% Gross/AER fixed for the first 12 months.
This is not very reassuring to a customer as it suggests Lloyds don't know they already have it.
And why, when viewing said Club Lloyds Monthly Saver that the person already has, does it say:For information on your interest rate, please visit {LINK}.butterfly )i(0 -

yet the 'link' is not clickable? When originally opened, the rate of 4% was shown here.
Hi butterflymum,
I've been looking into your queries this afternoon. On the Club Lloyds Monthly Saver offer, that shouldn't show and I've been advised that it's an issue that's going to be looked at. With regard to the interest link, that should obviously work and I've flagged that up to the relevant team for investigation.
Thanks for the feedback,

just found this post - not read it all yet - but also been sent harpers Bazaar and totally agree with you. Not requested and not wanted
They seem to be sending out Harpers Bazaar to a lot of people who wanted something else. It's a magazine they're struggling to shift, and I imagine they're working on the basis that most people won't bother to get it changed to the one they actually acted for.
The Lloyds Bank Rep might care to take this up with Hearst Magazines - I'm sure this wasn't permitted in the contract!0 -

Hi Doc N,
We’re aware that a few customers have been sent incorrect magazine titles (i.e. not only Harper's Bazaar). This has happened in error and there's no widespread issue. Our Club Lloyds Lifestyle Benefits team have been able to rectify this error when those customers have contacted them.
If any Club Lloyds account holders have received an incorrect magazine title, then please do get in touch with the team as they'll be able to help. They're available on both 01733 462224 & 0845 3030303 (lines are open seven days a week, 8am to 10pm). Email contact info is also available on the Club Lloyds website.
Thanks,

Just rang again tonight, after speaking and emailing various people in June. Confirm that my first issue should be sent out on the 7th of Aug - so fingers crossed.
Please can we have more choice next year (did consider the cinema tickets but the nearest one is 40miles away so not worth it - would cost more in petrol than the ticket)Typically confused and asking for advice0 -
Do you need to actually be invited to join this?
When my mum logged on to her account, she was invited as she pays at least £1500 a month in.
I on the other hand was only crediting £1000 & i didn't get the invite message.
If this is just some sort of error & i can actually join, do you really need 2 direct debits on the account? As i looked at the message my mum had when she logged on & it didn't mention anything about that. Just said 4% up to £5,000. Would certainly be better than the current 3% elsewhere (have already got the 5% accounts elsewhere).0 -
There is no requirement to receive an invitation - Lloyds are probably only inviting existing customers who would qualify based on their account history.0

A condition to receive interest is that you have 2 monthly paying DDs.

Anybody can apply for this account.0 -
Ah that's ok then.
Does the £1,500 need to be from an outside source? Or can you still go Lloyds1>Lloyds2>Lloyds3>Lloyds1 with your SO's?
I might upgrade my Vantage accounts. I can get 1 direct debit in fro Tesco. It'd just be a case of finding another to qualify. My Nationwide MySave is tied to another account so i'd just need to find 3 other direct debits & i'd be set.0
