    Hi,

I have opened a club lloyds current account and the club monthly regular saver, I was just wondering (probably a stupid question) does the SO for the monthly saver deposits have to come from the club lloyds current account or can I set it up from other of my accounts from another bank?

    Thanks
  • Has to go from the Club Lloyds account.

You are incorrect. I have one of these accounts and it's funded each month by Standing Order from outside of Lloyds.

    Hi Anagran,

As Steve_xx says, the standing order to your Club Lloyds Monthly Saver can come from an account at another bank.

    Hope this helps,

Apologies if this has been covered previously in this thread but if my OH applies for a sole Club Lloyds account and then subsequently adds me as a joint account holder, will I undergo a credit search or will it just be her that has a credit search as part of the account opening process?

You will also be credit searched.

However, if you already have a Lloyds current account in your own name (and hence they receive a monthly feed from the CRAs), and it's managed well, it's possible they may not make a credit search.

Once your partner has the sole account up and running, they can add you online. Maybe then you'd get your answer for certain, because somewhere in that procedure your partner will have to confirm that they have your permission to make CRA searches of you.

  • The lifestyle benefit.

I imagine it's been discussed within the 52 pages but 52 pages is a lot to sift through.

Is there any catch with this? I see you can pick from a few things. Do you end up having to pay some sort of charge at all? Or is it a total no catch freebie?

There's no charge. It's all part of the Club account.

Why sift through 52 pages on here when the lifestyle benefits T&Cs are on their website and run to just 6 pages?...
