I chose the wrong magazine - I think I have three unopened.

Would have liked the cinema tickets but too far away from the cinema you can use.
    Not Rachmaninov
    But Nyman

  • Ok, hope that's all sorted for you now then and thanks for the feedback.

I wonder how many people sign up for the feeebie itself. Personally I think the choice is extremely poor

Gourmet Cards are freely available continuously through other avenues. 6 month trials are regularly available which can be extended by signing up again.

The magazine choice is terrible and more geared towards women.

Cinemas are very limited so pointless if you have to travel far.

Answer. Increase the interest rate and drop the freebies or make the freebie £50/£100 cash !
  • Ah damnit. I just tried to log in & it failed. I checked the email & it said i have 30 days from opening the account to claim the benefit. I opened the account in August.

I'm guessing that means i've lost it & there's no way around it then?

I guess you could close the account and then open another?
  • That's a lot of hassle for 6 cinema tickets. I think i'll leave it. I don't go to the cinema a huge amount so i'll just have to stand the £8 a time or whatever the exaggerated price is these days.

    The lifestyle benefit.

I imagine it's been discussed within the 52 pages but 52 pages is a lot to sift through.

Is there any catch with this? I see you can pick from a few things. Do you end up having to pay some sort of charge at all? Or is it a total no catch freebie?
I was said by Lloyds that you can even watch 6 movies in a week and then leave, so afaik there is no catch.

Although leaving Lloyds will invalidate the tickets if you haven't already used them.

Are you sure you're using the correct Lifestyle log in details, which are not the same as your banking log in details? ;)

I opened my account in May and didn't bother with the Lifestyle benefit. However, I changed my mind in August and have been receiving my chosen magazine :o ever since.

The T&C were quite clear, in that unless you registered within 30 days of opening, you would not receive the full 12 months worth of Lifestyle benefit.

If you're not sure of your log in details, you can ask for a password reminder to be sent by email :)

    Hi JustAnotherSaver,

If you haven't already selected a benefit (when opening the account for example), you can still choose your benefit after the 30 days have passed. Section 6 of the terms & conditions provides some info on that:

    6. If you make your Lifestyle Benefit selection after the initial 30 day period then it will be fulfilled on a pro-rata basis. For example, if you make your Lifestyle Benefit selection 6 months after the end of the 30 day selection period, the Lifestyle Benefit will only be valid for the remaining 6 months of the benefit year.

If you need any help selecting a benefit, the Club Lloyds Lifestyle Benefits team can help on 01733 462 224 / 0845 303 0303 (lines are open seven days a week, 8am to 10pm).

    I hope this helps,
