Yes but it also depends on where you live. Most people are eligible for them, you just need to call up and opt in.0 -

Okay, thanks. I live in London, so location shouldn't be a problem. I am however a student, so they might not trust me with a contactless card.0 -

If you have a student current account you'll be eligible for one.0 -

Absolutely nothing to do with credit rating/Lloyds internal scoring at all. It's ALL location dependent, but if you HAVE to have contactless then they'll change it.0 -

I've got a contactless card and I'm a student, in the south west.
I don't get the desire for contactless though - I only use a debit card in ATMs because all my purchases go on credit cards for cashback.0 -

I'm having trouble setting up the 2 qualifying DD's. The Santander ones just aren't materialising for me or OH. I'd already set up ones to Tesco, and was originally going to set the other qualifying DD's as one from my Lloyds to OH Tesco and one from OH Lloyds to my Tesco, but when I started to do this it said the sending account must be in the same name (that's when I gave Santander a go). Anyway, as Santander ones have not got anywhere for either of us, I went ahead and set up the Tesco ones as originally planned. They're showing, but I haven't had any written confirmation yet. My question is, when I click on the OH Lloyds DD account when logged into my Tesco account (which I'd set up as monthly, but from May so it'd be on the same day as my other Tesco one), it offers me the option of regular or one off. I want to request a payment by DD now to get one in for April, but if I choose one off, will it override the regular monthly option I'd already set up? (Sorry for long winded explanation
).

As an aside, here we are discussing the mechanics of the setting up the Club Account, but in fact what we should be complaing about is the lousy deals from Lloyds and other banks.
Be it 1.5%, 3% or 4% these are all risible, especially the capping at £2000, goodness me the £5k cap was bad enough.
And then having to go through the stooopid hoops with the rotating of £1k or £1.5k monthly and then having to have a number of DDs.
Banking these days is a real joke.
Any political party who could sort it out properly would get my vote. It's your money. Except if it's the governments.0
