Apart from Tesco's appalling internet banking service :p
It is not the swishest but I wouldn't call it appalling. I have always been able to do what I wanted to do there, incl setting up countless DDs. Which I am only able to do at one other place, which doesn't take new applications any longer. I like Tesco banking :-)

If I switch my existing Gas DD from a Vantage account to the new Lloyds Club account will that be accpetable as one of the DDs?

Sure, as long as it goes out every month.

Yes. Just make sure that it pays monthly from this account

Apologies for asking but would a £1500 transfer in and out again count as meeting the £1500 fund requirement or does it have to come from an external source.

Moving it between 2x Lloyds accounts internally fills the funding requirement.

As an individual I don't believe I can set up a Direct Debit from one bank account to another, but I can a Standing Order.

So, can anyone tell me if 2 x Standing Orders will comply with requirements for this account. given that all the other criteria are met.

    Thanks

A standing order is not a direct debit so the answer to your question is No.

Yes you can set up a DD between bank accounts as an individual, if you read the posts on here you will see many have done it, including me.

Thanks Richchad for an informative reply.

All I need now is to work out how it may be accomplished, but I will start with opening the account.
