Does anybody know what will happen in the first month if the DDs are not paid? I assume there will be no interest, but for argument's sake, what happens if an account is opened in the middle of the month, as there won't be enough time to get a DD transferred and paid before the end of the month?

My Club Lloyds was opened and fully funded on March 31. My first DD didn't show on my Club Lloyds until April 2, and the second one got added today, 7th. Both DDs are monthly but neither has paid out yet.

I received interest of 87p on April 1.

The incentive is the interest rate, planteria!
  • Yes there are incentives. They are called Lifestyle Benefits.

eg: Free cinema tickets / dining discounts etc...

If they float your boat ...... ?

For those worried about the two tesco DDs, just open up a post office saver. If I remember correctly they also offer a regular dd that can be setup.

I suppose you could sell the cinema tickets, if you didn't want to use them

Is it possible to set up DD's from more than one external account with Tesco Internet saver. Like from Lloyds Plus (mine) and Lloyds Plus (my partners) into my Tesco IS ?
