I've been entering twitter comps for about 10weeks, I don't do it religiously just Inbetween the main comp board when I have a bit of spare time, I won my 1st prize from twitter last week, a set of dolls which my daughters were so pleased with when they arrived yesterday. I comp because I enjoy it and see any wins as an extra treat for my family, there's no tactic to the way I comp it fits in as and when around my family and other commitments and sometimes I'm lucky, sometimes I'm not! of course we all love to win but if you are easily disappointed and relying on a win to keep you going it's probably not the best hobby for you to choose as can get disheartening at times if you allow it to x0

276K tweets I chat as well as tweet comps, at most i won something 5 times in one week, worse 4 wks without a win, its luck of draw, just keep tweeting, the wins will find you, i find it quicker and easier on mobile devices so thats why I tweet so much, hope luck finds you xx
Similar to Cathy, I use mobile apps as its very fast - I have over 110k, and tweet and chat and put random gaff on there.
Longest without a win on there was 4 weeks, and had 3 in one day over the Christmas period.
Keep going, but do it for fun and as a hobby, wins are a bonus xWishing you all good luck!

I don't use Twitter for anything BUT comping, so it's possible that I'm missing out because people can tell it's not really a proper account. That said, I did finally win a rafflecopter comp with daily tweets (my first and only Twitter win after several years of comping), but I think that's because not many other people had entered, as it was for tickets to a stately home and gardens, hence geographically specific.
If you can find more comps like that, which are specific to an area, your odds of winning will go up. I've won a free meal at a local restaurant, vouchers to spend at the market in town, plus several pairs of rugby tickets.
Generally I don't win a lot; I seem to average a win every month or two. I just soldier along and sometimes get pleasantly surprised. I've won £500 on two different occasions.
That said, I'm on this thread because I'm frustrated at the moment myself; the wins have been pretty thin on the ground, despite the effort I put in every day. That's despite beginning to do some of the daily comps, which various people told me seem to be so easy to win - they haven't proved to be so for me, so maybe I need to give up on those.
You will find your way and then a lovely surprise will hit you out of the blue one day, I am sureI started this hobby when I was unemployed myself, but I do still like the perk here and there that it can provide. And one day I will win one of those ITV comps . . .
