since the start of this month and expect to be inundated with wins ? Also unemployed, take it you are expecting ipads daily to sell on
  • If you're thinking about starting a blog you could have written about it.

Yeah I'm not looking for work at the minute due to anxiety, that's why I entered competitions I needed a hobby. Maybe I could buy something online and review it?

But if so many people enter twitter competitions how do competition runners go through everyone's blog? Everyone seems to have one these days.

No I don't really mind what I win. I never thought it would be easy to win I'm not stupid. But I thought after compulsively entering competitions for nearly 3 weeks I would of won at least once by now. Especially since this girl on twitter and her friends find it weird if they don't win after just two days.

That seems rather judgemental. The OP said they were hoping to win something nice. Even unemployed people are entitled to enter and win competitions surely. I hope they get a win soon.

You are setting your sights on what other people manage. Other people to me have a nice house, money , relationships, yes would be nice but i get by at the moment and my time will come.

Yes, perhaps came across as that but i don't see what unemployment has to do with resentment of a 'friend' winning loads by sucking up to promoters

I don't win much from Twitter competitions, do fairly well with FB ones though!
Twitter competitions are so easy and quick to enter so loads more people are entering them.

You aint gonna get far if you rely on twitter comps.
And if youre already peed off not winning after just 3 weeks id give up now if i was you -comping isnt for you, fair enough if youre moaning after say 6 months i think thats a realistic target.
There are some folk on here who aint won for 2 years or more.
In around 150 ive only won 1 twitter comp despite entering some each day - i think it was 1900 entries for my first win.

And anyone who tells you they win loads from it is lying, the only big winners regular are ones who have Very good blogs etc and promote!

(definately DONT believe anyone who tells you they win tons & tons, its rubbish ask anyone on here)
But if you dont want to work due to anxiety, get a paid surveys bit of work its regular money (look for threads on here 'swagbucks'
Still comping, after 2 heart attacks 4th feb & 6th feb, and a stent put in.. 45 years old only:eek:

Ah, I see. I read it as OP mentioned unemployment as a reason she had time on her hands not that she thought she 'deserved to win'. I think she was just wondering if she was missing a trick somewhere. I'm glad I don't do Twitter comps - they don't seem very straightforward to me! :)

I get that but I know why other people have those things and I don't. Its because of my personal problems which is also the reason I'm unemployed.

But this is completely different. She doesn't suck up though that's just it. We enter the same competitions we both do the same kinda thing when entering competitions we both follow the competition rules so how come she always wins and I never do? It's so frustrating.

I have had six wins *checks my tracker* and have entered 4781 comps in approx 4 weeks. Not just on twitter of course. Personally, I believe just to be luck, pure and simple. My favourite win is a book signed by Tony Robinson. Worth 5.99 and probably the least valuable of all wins, but Tony Robinson rules and grew up with him, starting with maid marion when I was a nipper, and then time team.

I guess my point is, in a round-a-bout way is don't enter to win. Treat it as the hobby it is. Then - if and when you get the WEM or knock on the door from the postie, it'll be much sweeter.

    :)
