Im going to call them Monday to see where my reply is to the question " Why can I not input my gas meter readings". I am also going to try and lower by DD to an amount which will certainly put me in debit as im fine with owing EE money, that certainly wont be an issue and I will take full advantage of it.
While im at it, I may as well ask where my 6 month bill is too. (I will provide the excuse, sorry explanation if I get one.
Interestingly there are other suppliers also having billing issues, is this becoming the norm?

Also EE complaint process, sorry if this has already been posted but hey should be useful for the newbies.

EE are just geting better and better,
Has anyone had dealing with first-utility or the Co-Op,
I can save £132 a year with both of the above and get a £30 cash back,
I will give EE there full six months before I run for the hills.
I do pray they get there act together . .0 -
I switched to Extra Energy from Npower in November and the tariffs are cheaper than the ones I had last year with Npower Fresh Fixed Price Nov 2015
Standing charge 19.10p per day each
Electric 10.94 per unit
Gas 3.21 per unit.
the only problem I have is leaving readings on line because their website will only let you leave electricity readings at the moment. A lassie told me it was a problem with their portal apparently. Wots a portal? She meant the online web site........0 -
Too right Onbudsman.
Apparently EE are having a problem with their portal. After a bit of pushing the lassie at EE said it was the online website. But you can ring up with a reading..... For an all online account it's a bit rubbish that you can't leave a reading on-line.
And despite numerous phone calls I have been waiting for a final bill from Scottish Power since October 2013. They have archived all their accounts up to 2013 so I'm forced to e-mail them now. I've asked that the debt be written off. They have to give a discount on it after a year anyway.0 -
Really not happy have First Utility. My monthly winter bill is about £80. In Feb FU charged me £480, they really messed-up. I have contacted there customer service department , still not resolved and now I have the next bill that is also wrong. I have sent them the meter readings, but nothing has been done about it. I have now cancelled my direct debit, hoping that will prompt them into action.
How hard is it to produce a correct bill?0 -

So why do you post on the Extra Energy forum. You surely cannot hold EE responsible for the failing of FU. Or do you?0 -

Im glad to hear that other users are experiencing the same issue with gas meter readings.
It would seem EE are just ignoring my emails in regards to the issue, an explanation would have been a basic minimum. The logical thing to do would be to place a message on their website explaining that inputting gas meter readings is temporarily unavailable.
Where are the EE reps, are you going to provide an update to this issue as this section of your website has been broken for at least 2 weeks now?
(EE reps,Please dont ask me to message you as you can provide the answer publicly for all to see :T)
It will be interesting to see if we get a reply to this from EE. No reply will ultimately clarify the matter.0 -
While I await a reply from EE, I have come across the below which may be helpful when deciding to stay or leave EE or any other energy company.
Energy firms can't charge exit penalties within 49 days of a fix ending. On a cheap fixed energy deal? You needn't wait to the last day to avoid exit fees as rules state that 49 days before your fix ends, you're allowed to switch without penalty.
roll on July :j0 -
I believe the rep is available on Twitter between 9 and 4pm Monday to Friday and they seem more active there than on this site at the moment.
Thanks MABLE, I will have a read though their Twitter page. I dont do much social media, drives me bonkers as I just have too much to complain about.0
