It will be interesting to see how quick they produce your Final Bill.
Has anyone here completed a switch from EE whilst in debit?
I've left them in debit. According to the calculator MABLE linked my final bill is likely to be about £190
They are more than welcome to take their time with it :rotfl:0 -
But its so unfair because they will only report you to a credit reference agency.
This is a very good site for working out your energy costs. If you know your start readings and end ones. Also the date you started with EE and it will work the bill out for you.

Thanks for the link. As far as my story goes, plot has thickened! The complaint advisor left a message on my mobile, I asked her to reply to me via email (so that I have a proof), as I couldn't make out what she said in the message. She hasn't replied with email, I listened to the message again today. She said she ahs looked into my complaint (no final bill) and found out that they don't have the start meter readings! What a lame excuse! When I switched to them I provided the meter readings which then they forwarded to my previous supplier to produce the final bill. Luckily I did get the final bill then and now can send them the readings! She said she will get back to me on 20th. It will take them that long not to find the readings! Really???0 -

Forgive me if you have answered this by way of previous posts but does this mean that you have actually switched, getting your energy from another/other companies and presently paying these ones w/o having a final bill from EE and settling with them???Got a ticket from ParkingEye? I switched to sainsburys energy which completed about 2 weeks ago. I haven't made any payments since switching, my first DD is due out next week. I have received a letter from new supplier confirming this and date and amount of first payment
I haven't had a final bill from EE as yet although in fairness to them it took a few weeks for EDF to generate my final bill when I moved to EE. Although from others experiences on this thread, I'm not expecting it any time soon!0 -

You will certainly have no problem switching in debit. Also once my supply had started with the new company no further direct debit payments were claimed. In some respects EE are very efficient.
Because they have not worked out my final bill they do not know whether I owe them money but were obviously happy to let the transfer go ahead.
I only know I am in credit because I worked my bill out using an internet tool.
Best of luck!0 -
Just remembered my final bill will actually be nearer £240. Forgot to factor the early termination fee into it.
They're still very welcome to take their time with it0 -
It will be interesting to see whether those in debit get their final accounts sooner than those in credit.
If this is the case, that would mean final reckonings involving refunds would be entirely within their capability and they are just not prioritising them because it would mean refunding money.A chicken crossing the road is poultry in motion0 -
