Coming towards the end of a one year deal with Extra Energy. Being a regular switcher I have experienced many different suppliers over the years. Nothing comes close to the appallingly bad customer service of this company. Avoid at all costs.0

Extra Energy have the worst customer service of any Utility company I've used! They ignore emails & it takes forever to get through on the phone, their billing system is a complete joke! They only bill you biannually & because I switched they cancelled their mid term bill & sent just one bill for the whole year!I must, I must, get my post average up to 1 a day!!0

After being with them for a never-ending 12 months and then rushing to switch supplier, it's taken 2 months to get them to generate my final bill - which came as a 'first bill' email!
I'm still waiting for the refund of my credit - the date stated on the bill has come and gone. They are still not responding to emails. Please avoid!0 -
Even though their tariffs are competitive, I would pay extra not to deal with rubbish customer service and billing problems"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Just heard that they have accepted this as being a valid point and are going to change the best buy table accordingly. Not sure how soon the change will happen though.0 -

My refund took 132 days so don't worry about it, they obviously appreciate the interest free loan.0 -

They then employ another trick to avoid paying, when the payment date has come and gone, they cancel the bill and take more time to issue another bill, which funnily enough is for exactly the same amount as the first bill, giving another payment date which also comes and go's.
I await my next "new bill".
Extraenergy are a bunch of crooks.0
