  • looo0l we are all trying to get away but we cant without our final bills hahahaha,

You have to laugh otherwise you will go extraenergy crazy . . .
  • The powers that be scratch their heads trying to work out why people don't change their energy suppliers. This forum should explain what they can't seem to work out.
  • Woow after a very strong worded letter and email I've got a final bill and a refund date of the 29/11/2015 loool, let's see what happens next, big thanks to youhavin.
  • Glad you got it sorted. You can probably expect the refund to appear around the 3rd-4th December if my experience is anything to go by.

I told you they don't like it up 'em! :D
  • Have I just dropped a massive clanger by signing up to extra energy until December 2016?

If you're in the 14 day cooling off period I think if you read this thread the sensible advice would be to cancel the switch and look elsewhere.

You may well find that splitting gas and electric between separate suppliers gives you the cheapest option? I can highly recommend Zog Energy for your gas if the price is right.
  • Just stumbled on this thread accidentally

I received my welcome letter on November 10th so should be ok - is it best to email or telephone or both?!

I want a dual fuel supplier really, currently getting my pants pulled down by NPower standard tariff.

last year I used 10 600 electric & 3400 gas and I've been on standard tariff for over a year :(

Belt and braces approach with Extra Energy is always best.

Both phone and send an email and make sure you ask that they send you an email confirming that they have cancelled the switch. (The copy of your sent email is your proof that you requested the cancellation).

If they're cheapest, go with them. They supply your gas & electricity, you pay them; what more do you need? I've been with them for a year with no problems.
