How is anyone entering meter readings? Whenever I try, despite filling in all of the fields on the form, it comes back with an error saying "Enter a meter reading for Meter reading". I have entered one!!!!
I've tried different browsers, and different machines, but with no difference. I also tried sending them an email to ask them to fix it, but after two months, I got an email saying could I phone them...0 -
Had my final bill last week in an email cunningly titled 'Your first electricity bill'. This is 5 months after leaving them....
I'm gobsmacked they are still in business, they aren't even the cheapest any longer.0 -
I left EE in june after 6 mths, luckily for me they never took any DD payments so they dont have any of my money, dont ask me why no DD was taken it was set up correctly they just never took any and the only reason I found out was after reading reviews I checked my bank account. After reading the reviews I decided to quickly leave.
Now today I have finally received my first bill in nearly 12 mths and it is 100% correct (shock/horror) but they want £25 fees for leaving which I know is correct as it was in their terms, now my question is as they didnt take any payments off me and it wasnt my fault, they had the correct debit set up have I got a case for not paying the £25. thanks0 -
I was just looking through my old accounts with EE and could not believe what I was paying for my gas. They were charging me Gas 23.594p a day and 3.654p per unit. I am now with Dallas and was paying 8.40 a day with 3.035 a unit but now on their new tariff of 9.40 a day and 2.70 per unit and all prices include vat. Also no termination fees.
So based on the above EE are not so competitive.0 -

Unbelievably yesterday I received a phone call shortly followed by an email complete with my final bill attached together with written confirmation that my credit balance will be refunded to my bank account on 10th November.
Just an update on the refund of my credit balance.
Well they didn't quite make the 10th November as stated on my final bill but it was refunded to my bank on 13th November.
That's me done on this thread and my final bit of advice for anyone considering Extra Energy has to be....DON'T DO IT!0 -

You could try complaining but I suspect you are going to have to pay the £25 as you left them early.
If they hadn't sent you a bill for over 12 months then you would have had a stronger case for not paying..

I'm almost certain it was his intervention that got me sorted out so quickly as he probably just wants it and us all to go away.0
