At first (about two years ago) they kept sending me their deferment forms, and I kept writing back refusing to complete and sign their form, but provided all the information they should have needed (payslips, P60, tax credits notifications, even part of my tax return).
I got the occasional stroppy letter from them, but as far as I was concerned, I had deferred. I don't think I've been sent any further requests to defer, and I've ignored all their correspondence since (probably a mistake). I've always asked them to keep everything in writing and not to call, but they keep phoning my parent's landline (the only phone number they have on record for me) and hassling them.
Now I've been sent a Notice of Default, and they are asking me to pay £4000 immediately. I've not kept myself up to date with what's been going on with Erudio for some time, so I don't know what the current state of play is?
I notice they have an online deferment application system now, should I sign up and go through that? Or should I write another letter? Contest their Notice of Default? Request to defer again? Dare I speak to them on the phone, or is that a waste of time?
I'm in a very similar situation to this, and have had a letter this morning demanding I pay arrears of nearly £2k within one month. Erudio sent my Dec 2014 deferment pack to the wrong address, which put me in arrears, so I then sent the same info as I'd always sent to SLC to them in February 2015, which they say they didn't accept, then I heard absolutely nothing from them until the massive pack of 'corrected' statements etc. dating back to 2014 a few weeks ago. And now today - a notice of default. I'm currently off work (and have been for several months) with stress and depression. I'm still way under the payment threshold. I don't know what to do about this now.0 -

I got a "Notice of Default" letter today, with a demand to pay arrears. Erudio threaten to terminate my contractual rights ...etcetera.
I'll comment more when I have caught up with the thread.
At least all of the logic gymnastics with FOS has prepared me for the court case.0 -
I wonder how economical it would be for Erudio to pursue those court cases if they are to be defended as far as a full, evidential hearing. Given the small claims rules on expenses it would be very costly for them to pursue, even if they won. Perhaps they might register a default, and then hound you to the grave without taking court action. Of course, the loans would become statute barred over time in that scenario.0

Well just received 5 Notice of Arrears letters, each one relating to each of my 5 loans. Last year they just sent it in 1 letter. Wonder if they are trying to drown me in paperwork.
I just wish this would end. It's a joke that we've been done over like this, especially as I have successfully deferred without problems when the SLC had it.0 -
Erudio = arrow, who aren't afraid to use the courts to collect on the zombie loans they buy for a fraction of face value.
Group action is the only way to make this stop."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

Looks like we've reached that time. I am happy to be a part of it.0 -

Hi to one and all.
Just a quick question. Has anyone been working on the missing statutory notices or have any more updates or clues from Erudio on the PwC 'remediation' work?Paying for uni to get a job... just to get a job to pay for uni0
