ERUDIO student loans help

Looks good. Have you provided the same info as last year? Have you also crossed sections out on the DAF? It seems a bit of a lottery but you seem to have covered it all and in theory you seem to have met all your obligations to get deferment.Paying for uni to get a job... just to get a job to pay for uni0

Everything is exactly the same as last year except that I have not received the 1p of interest:p on my current account (0 pence) and I have overlaid the Credit/T&C's, that Anna prescribed above, over that of Erudio's, on Page 6 of the DAF.
That is the only bit too alter/cross out on the DAF isn't it, the last info box on page 6?

I don't believe it!
I've not been well and then was dealing with more immediate concerns than Erudio so this is the first chance I've had to check in here for ages.
I've only read the last page of this thread so far - and that's all I need really to tell that the situation is still as rubbish as ever.
I guess it was wishful thinking but I thought (hoped) by now things might have improved. What a fool!
I guess I'm going to have to start getting myself organised/mentally prepared for my deferment. Not due for a couple of months but best to be super-prepared with this lot!
I'm just so glad and grateful for this thread - all the tips, advice, and mutual support made dealing with Erudio more bearable.0 -
I am eligible to defer, but I find Erudio such a nightmare to deal with, that I have offered to pay 30 percent of my total student loan of approx 1,000 pounds. As I have now received 300 pounds compensation in total now, I'm really paying approx 700 pounds. I would rather pay it, and not have to deal with Erudio for another 5 years.
However, I have just received a letter saying that if my offer is accepted, that it will show on my credit file as a partial payment for a minimum of 6 years. Can anyone advise what sort of impact this may have?
Many thanks.0 -
I've finally had written acknowledgement of my letter of complaint. I sent it on or around the 12th of June. In their reply they say it was dated the 29th of June, which is clearly wrong. Should I try to correct it or just ignore it?0

I would let them know of it, because if they take too long to deal with your complaint, they seem to give you compensation for it (even if it is via the FOS).
You can send them an email to let them know of their error - but you will need to put your name, address, DOB, plus references at the top of the email.
Apparently, they need your name, address, and DOB details in an email to know that it is really you. Sheer lunacy if you ask me. But then that describes Erudio pretty well0 -
Keep a record of when you sent your complaint so you can prove when the 8 weeks for the FOS are up.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

And that is the Erudio business model in a nutshell. A govt loan you were painlessly deferring for x amount of years becomes unbearable to deal with. The govt/BIS/FOS/FCA do fack all about this horrible shell company...
AND you may still have a negative on your credit rating AFTER paying them off ! Lets hope osbourne is gonna throw you a bone in the budget0 -

I feel bad offering them anything, because I know it's what they want. But, they are such a nightmare, I just want it over with!0
