ERUDIO student loans help

Well one of us had a settlement agreed.... Although they did then help themselves to his/her bank account for a monthly payment. I think it's incompetence.
Might have to be another complaint then!0 -
I was probably being overly generous taking the time to think of an explanation that wasn't just incompetent idiocy from Erudio.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I was told by the national debt advice line before I sent my settlement letter that I had to make it clear the money was available from a third party and therefore was a limited offer. This is still the case and I am using third party money to stop me going into arrears. It's been two months since they received that letter and they've done nothing. Another payment is due on the 10th so that will be a third payment they've got out of me since this started.
It seems bizarre to me that they've been given an offer and they've not acted on it. Any ideas?
They have shown themselves to be clueless about MOST things. However you seem to be trying to GIVE them MONEY which is the reason the shell company Erudio exists: YET THEY still can't manage to take it from you in a timely fashion. Which is kinda incredible Even by their pretty low standards... really makes you wonder about the due diligence process and are they really fit for purpose?
Try taking them to the FOS over their refusal to accept your cash?0 -
Definitely my next step I think.0

Apologies for this question, as it might be perceived as laziness, but I've not been receiving notifications and I need to get cracking on my second deferment.
Simply, has anything changed since last year in terms of filling out the forms i.e. giving them the bare minimum (personal details), blanking out T&C's and adding a letter stating the reason and that you stand by the original agreement drawn up by SLC?
Thanks,

In short nothing has changed much... Give as little personal information as possible, ideally the same as what you gave last year. They have backed down on dd issue, and although I have not seen a DAF for this year, they have moved T&C to website I believe. Cross out anything that contradicts original agreement and include a statement that you do not agree with any changes to your original T&Cs.
Anna2007 that helped you last year has posted a little way back a form for those who intend to use the DAF that may help.

Thanks just what I needed to hear. However, what is a DAF?

Of course, thanks.

@ Tommygunn There's a copy of my amended page 6 of the DAF on page 202, post 4037, if it's any help to you.
I was deferred within days with no issues, however I do know of two applications since that have been refused simply for scoring out some of the t&c's. Obviously they can't force any of us to agree to terms that aren't part of the original agreement, but it's just to make you aware you might have to fight for deferment (so nothing new there).
Good luck!0
