Evening all nothing new to report, biked to work another £3.40 saving...I actually cant believe I was abusing the train over christmas, wouldnt mind but i only had a couple of nights out that warranted going into town the rest was just laziness..well back into good habits, almost had a nsd except for the £1 I added to a colleagues leaving collection, felt like an absolute skin flint putting only a pound in as I genuinely like her but im running seriously low on funds...I hope this is one of the times that its the thought that counts, counts. Still lots of people in my office so im sure shell get something nice...and every little helps (just trying to make myself feel better there lol) £1.40 paid over to credit card same principal applies. I know I said id post my new budget but cant seem to figure out how to extract it from YNAB:o but am have rejigged the figures so hopefully will be able to make a payment of £1500 to the debts, obviously not enough to reach the needed target to clear for target dfd but its a step in the right direction now i just need payday to come.
right bed time, hope yall have a lovely evening whatever your doing...goodnight xXDFD-01.03.2018:starmod: :T

Evening Diaryland, well have continued on my no spend challenge, did however pop to Tesco to pick up some contact lense solution, it was an emergency... then i realised id lost my cc...lost/stolen, dont know I had it in the store, cant quite remember taking it out of the self service check out though, then got to my car it was gone. ran back but no one had handed it in and the person after me didnt give it to the attendant either...seves me right for not paying attention to what i was doing and being in a rush as per... Anyway has been cancelled now alls well, there were no reported uses and now its useless to anyone who tries to use it (I hope). Problem though I dont get paid till next Friday, am supposed to be meeting friends tomorrow for celebration and the boy on Saturday...did I mention I have £31.07 in cash to my name. Could kick myself for not having a cash emergency fund and relying on credit card:doh:. Also could of managed this months money better, totally at faault on this one..:o:(...oh well, whats done is done and I wont make the same mistake next month:)
In good news, erm this week im still here, have lost 4lbs:j (well pleased with that lol! have earned 18p per litre off my petrol till 31 Jan, will redeem that once paid and fill up my tank...totally sad but this makes me happy...saying that I do need petrol for Saturday to journey down & meet the boy (we live 170miles apart so we just meet in the middle- a pain:yes, time consuming:yes, worth it:seems so... so far:o)
Work was nice went quickly and was quite busy...all in all quite a happy day.
New allowance reset today, honestly trying to keep in line with just 500mb is a challenge sometimes but for £12.50 ill do it, annoyed as I saw the same deal for £7.50...I know I can stick to the allowance now so on my next contract itll be a case of how low can they go...I cant believe how much ive changed from before...I used to have phone bills of over £100 a month_pale_ Honestly if I could go back id slap myself...Thats not even adding the amount on hair, makeup, clothes, going out...actually I did look a damn sight better back then though :rotfl: Kind of glad I finished with that, keeping up with the Jones's malarky, as they say the Jones's are broke...and so am I:rotfl:
Its funny Im miles away from where I used to be, but im feeling quite happy...Im not fully converted to frugaldom but I am getting there...its been a fun journey for me so far...looking forward to this year...whatever happens, its a blessing.
Anyway sorry about the essay, I just felt like rambling...hope everyone has had a wonderful evening and has an even better Friday...Goodnight xXDFD-01.03.2018:starmod: :T

Good morning fellow dfw's...
Happy Saturday, feeling grateful its the weekend, looks like a nice winters day outside. had a lovely evening last night with my friends, spent £17.50, thats meal, wine and £5 oyster top up, very happy with that, thankful for such lovely friends really enjoyed it- my friend and her husband are the sweetest couple, always feel happier after being in there company.
Brother pinged me £100 IOU payment along with £2 interest bless him, this really made me chuckle and was just perfect timing so im no longer worried, everything always has a way of working out...should be fine now till payday..only 6 days left woohoo!!
Was listenening to Dave ramsey pod cast in work and heard the womans debt free scream, she'd cleared something like $28k in 7 months, I was blown away by her determination and testimony...really inspiring.
Money related tasks today- pay £50 to credit card monster & fill up petrol & hopefully take advantage of the money off scheme. Nothing much else to report... wishing everyone a fun & frugal Saturday xXDFD-01.03.2018:starmod: :T

Afternoon diaryland, quick update-having a really nice Sunday, also enjoying a nsd so far, Yesterday didnt fair to badly managed the money over to credit card, petrol £30 worth for £26.56 (its the little things that make my day) received £60 for rent contribution too (which id paid last week) so will pay another £55 onto cc today and have £35 in purse left over so will keep that just in case until Thursday then will pay it over just in time for pay day Friday. Need to rejigg budget again, underestimated the amount im spending on petrol:doh: other than that am fairly happy with things so far...am loving the YNAB it appeals to my inner geek. Nothing much else to report...hope everyone has a fab & fun Sunday xXDFD-01.03.2018:starmod: :T

Evening Diaryland,
So quick update as nothing much happened today, cycled into work...roads were a little frosty...saw a road gritter lorry this evening too, its official Jack frost has hit London town...am hoping the roads arnt too icy tomorrow I really dont want to spend money on public transport if i can help it. No payments today...just batoning down the hatches until Friday. Had a NSD today will try and do another tomorrow. Have managed to stay within my fitness pal app calory count and have lost a few pounds, clearly Saturdays pizza hasnt settled yet, if it does I hope it goes somewhere useful like bust or bottom and not on my belly :rotfl:...sadly nothing much else has happened. Am longing for payday feels like the longest month this month really does... work was blissfully busy yet quiet. I hope everyone also had a nice start to the week...will check back in tomorrow.....Good night xXDFD-01.03.2018:starmod: :T

Evening all,
today was a pretty quiet day, another nsd, have manageed to stay within my calorie count too (I think) if so barely. Today I made no credit card payments but did take some action to increase my cash flow...1) Put my pension payment on hold till further notice- saves £50 per month, will start from Feb by my goal dfd will be £250 saving, also cancelled my lottery dd also will save approx £100-120 in the next 6 months. every penny counts...also due to meet up with my girls end of the month, have asked that we find something cheap & cheerful...hopefully itll cost no more than £20 as thats all ive budgeted (& id like to bring home change from that:rotfl:- times are hard lol) well that pretty much as far as I got finance wise...hope everyone else had a nice productive day.. xXDFD-01.03.2018:starmod: :T
