Over spent a wee bit this week (alcohol & food mostly) so had to rejigg (again
), really need to get a handle on these purse strings...not a lot just £20 here and there, they all add up though...will fling some bits on ebay to make back the difference...brought a foodshop, filled up on petrol and grabbed bumper pack of cat food, i think im all set of some NSD's now lol! Nothing much else to report...Will be staying in tonight, I need some r&r lol! Hope everyones having a fab & frugal weekend xX

Happy Sunday all...well for me its looking to be a busy one, which isnt necessarily a bad thing..Awoke and put a load of washing on, cracked open my sealed pot- £19 in there, figured if im going to make a dent in debt im gonna need every penny i can, also my slight overspend at the pubs last week means my budget is going to be a little tight. YNAB is proving handy in giving me a real look as too where im making problems for myself..I think im getting the hang of this getting paid Jan but its feb budget spending..thankfully all seems to balance for now. Today Im at church twice. Mine i n the morning and a friends in the evening (need to buy travel to get there, parking way too much
) Sorting things to upload to ebay when i get back, time to simplify a bit I think. Some decluttering is needed. Paid £50 into my bank yesterday (self service window) but it doesnt seem to be showing in my account, will give it to Monday before I stress, pehaps they didnt have time to credit it. List of things to do is growing..most of all need to find my bike pump, am not spending anymore money on trains unless im heading into town or theres some kind of blizzard...PAD of £1.54 made to cc ..I best get off, hope you all have a really lovely day today..xX

Ever had one of those days, honestly this month has been one thing after another..funerals, deaths attracting crazy people...I point blank refuse to have another flop of a year! It cant be..I have figured out YNAB and reconciled it but due to unforseen payments im going to be £100 short this month and I dont want to use the cc, going to have to call in some IOU's or sell something I guess...what I do know is I need something to swing in my favour...work is starting to get me down a bit, ive been in the same roll forever, no real progress...feel abit adrift....you know I must have January blues...happy when Jan over but still then 5 months till target date. I need a positive life change...sorry no financial updates today just ramblings...waiting on £450.25 debt payment to drop out of my account then ill update my sig. ok positive thought- lovely work colleague brought me some daffodils may not sound like much but it really made me smile and now spring is on its way (fair way off but comming)...happy Tuesday folks...hope yall had a happy day xx sorry for the ramblings xXDFD-01.03.2018:starmod: :T

Evening all,
Quick check in, so am suffering from the sniffles, ha when it rains it poors...but if im honest long drinking sessions and late nights have taken its toll, need to slow it down abit..have made a debt payment of £4.97 I know im still over budget but dont want to stop the momentum...I point blank refuse to use my credit card, so actions wwill be taken to ensure that doesnt happen, mainly making use of the magic word NO!! and thinking do I need that, keeping the eye on the prize. Messaged my uncle to enquire about the £50 i loaned him before xmas..should get that back on Wednesday, £5 in from halifax on the 1st actually more likley the 2nd Feb, have a quidco payment coming...will fleabay too, somehow i know ill make it till the end of the month without using cards, only time it will see some action is for debt payments. Just need another £40 sure I can do that on sales etc. everything is going top be alright, I just know it xXDFD-01.03.2018:starmod: :T

Evening all,
Still feeling grotty with the lergy, I dont know how I keep taking these colds, I suspect its the biking in cold climates, who knows...Today spent had the day off which was lovely as could rest up a bit..in the afternoon took mum for afternoon tea (already purchased last year) was nice but so tiring was happy to get back home in my pj's soo rock & roll!!
Watched eat well for less tonight too tired to do much else sofa night well deserved I think, I really enjoyed it, lovely family...was good though did turn me off cheap sausages darn it lol! really shocked at the weekly shop though- family of four £260 pw:eek: even a £74 saving didnt seem enough..I was amazed...ours is around £60-£90 per week (higher end inc. meat shop) but even that I think is too high...really enjoyed it though..they need to visit a!dl its saved us loads so far..which reminds me I missed the paper for the £5 off, pants (wonder if my nans picked up a copy).
No PAD today, spend of £10 topping up mums oyster for our day out, will use whats remaining for one way travel to work if a) I still feel rubbish to cycle and b) If Jack frost hits London overnight.
news for today received a statement of account from D3 telling me of balance along with an offer to give me a discount of 25% if I pay d3 off in a lump sum at anytime. Am a bit worried if I do this and take the discount it will harm my credit score as i do want to save and get a mortgage after I clear this mess up...on the other hand will help clear this mess up quicker & may actually reach my goal...
anyway after next months pay check I will start saving towards a lump sum payment..and will check how this will show up on my report (part paid/ settled) as advised by a helpful fellow mse :T Has anyone else ever taken a lump sum payment discount? I haven't asked for it or missed a payment I guess they're just keen to get there money back asap. Does make me wonder if I was over charged on the bill in the first place also I dont know if im comfortable paying less than I owe...I know I said Id see but actually didnt think they'd just offer me that much off...blessing in disguise maybe? I just don't know..anyway getting slightly ahead of myself I still need to pay off the cc fully then concentrate on stacking money to be in a position to take the offer..still good news I guess.
Thank God its Friday tomorrow, just one day at work to get through & I can come home, dose myself up and sleep...nsd ensured there..measly silver lining to being ill I guess:)..Night xXDFD-01.03.2018:starmod: :T

Happy Saturday everyone...already popped to the bank to bank mums share of the rent, my bank balance isnt looking as unhealthy now but am still going to need to be careful and still need to create some extra income to ensure I dont need to use my credit card. Still feel I should be ok. Im not worried which is actually a nice feeling will enjoy it whilst it lasts lol! received £3.35 payment from quidco so have paid over £3.00 to the cc, I know I prob should save it as every little helps to see me to next payday but I couldnt resist a little swipe at the the debt pile.
Yesterday registered for contactless travel payment as I couldnt bike in (darn pesky cold). This actually saved me money as I can only top up a minimum of £5 at a time (well 5,10,15) always either too much or too little for what I need and yes is true it does all get used in the end, but when your counting your pennies every penny counts.. so now I can pay for just what I need, no point topping up a fiver when I only needed £1.70 travel. Sorry im wittering on, sound like a right skinflint don't I :olol!...I know its sad but I dont care, love it...if I was this way before I would've got my act together sooner. Still fall off the wagon from time to time, but im trying to keep my grip and stay on for as long as I can. May as well make myself comfy whilst im at it. I've realised i'm most lethal with frittering money when I've had a drink, definitely need to join some sobriety thing.
Today's tasks tea with the girls in town (prearranged from last month)...more travel expense:( Then home to dose myself up, snuggle under the duvet & watch a film.. Oh & need to upload some bits to ebay too....I say this every week and still haven't done it, shamefull...right best get off, hope everyone as a lovely fun & frugal day whatever your doing xX

Quick check in...have had a really lovely day so far and a great start to February...random act of kindness I awoke, spent time with mum watching obese a year to save my life (guilty pleasure) chatted and enjoyed time with her then went into the kitchen and did the washing up of the breakfast stuff and a clean. Was a nice surprise when she got in there. Had a lovely service at church which im really getting into...gave a tithe for my quidco income, & nope I don't class that as spending so I will call it a NSD 1
. weyhey!! PAD made for £2, made turkey stirfry for dinner (attempting to lose weight too, forgot it off my list) so have put a portion aside ready for lunch at work tomorrow. still need to upload items on ebay but all in all feeling like I made a half decent start to the month, its not much but am gonna get there.....hope everyone is having a really lovely Sunday xX

why is the breaks always so short?! well YNAB updated and ebay items listed I managed 9 items before I got bored lol..all come to £50 in total if they were to sell for minimum, which is kind of how much extra I need to avoid using the cc.
