Hey SS1000  Thank you so much for your kind words hun, your right I think I just got all in a tizz and fighting too many battles at once, kind of overwhelmed me a bit...had more bad news Friday, didnt pass my exams, was crushed. Am really believing that once you start feeling negative the bad news snow balls. My laptop also broke (working now), it was a hell of a day I can tell you...took the day to wallow and feel outright pants...So inorder to break myself out of the rut I rebooked the exam and reordered fresh materials...ready to take another run jump at it. Also had a night out (very bad idea...never party when your disappointed....you way overspend!!) so this month Is going to be pretty tight...Cant believe I wasted so much money:mad:
So instead of clearing the debt down and breaking the 21k barrier I will be aiming not to use my credit cards cc2...so I have approx £120 in my account now:eek::eek::eek:
still have wedding gift, 2weeks rent payments and a night out with work to get through...Going to have to be careful leading up to payday...& make some extra money pronto, really dont want to use cc2...other than this life is good. Heard from housing so will move when i see a property i could live in, am ebaying everything but my cat &car (gave the car thought:o)
cancelling with phone contract will get a pay as you go chip....cant think of anything else i missed...so tired am sleep deprived to the extreme....gonna take a nap...apologies for the rambling..have a wonderful Sunday everyone xDFD-01.03.2018:starmod: :T

Hi Shelbi
Glad you feel more positive about it now. Your rent is a priority, the other two things really aren't. Can you have a look for a wedding gift to suit your budget? I know there must be all sorts of dos and dongs about wedding gifts, but at the moment you really don't have the money spare? And going out..... How much do you want to go - can you be honest and say you have a wedding to buy for and just can't afford it?
I keep my Tesco credit card for those small emergencies but really just for the points and the plan is to pay off each spend immediately. There is a £400 balance on it at the moment, but that amount is tucked in my savings account earning interest waiting for the statement. It's a bit nerve wracking though because that's how all my other credit cards became so huge (small amounts building up to unmanageable ones and using the intended funds for something else). Just be cautious, as you are doing so well.
Good luck and stay strong, I know you'll cope.

Morning Supersaver:wave:
Thank you're so right rent is priority, so thatll be £126 (2 weekly payments of £63) the drinks is for my boss & colleagues birthday, whole team go, we usually do a whip of £20 (food & wine) which is doable but I can always go and stick to soft drinks or just buy my own, theyd understand, theyre good like that. My friend wedding I may do what my boss suggested and get a beautiful frame and put a pic of her and her DH in it, will be cheaper and is lovely idea, the fact you suggested it too tells me its perfectly acceptable...great minds ay! Im not too worried about this now as I know my friend will understand she knows im debt busting, also her honey moon isnt till November so I can always defer the gift and pay next month if shes fussed (though i know she wouldnt be- shes a real sweet heart). Saying that I should have enough to make it through the month just over 2 weeks. Have uploaded bits too ebay if they sell ill have £100fingers crossed. Also woke up to email from tfl- due to malfunction they are crediting my account with £3.60- add that to my balance and I have my travel for Wednesday :j every little helps...lots of NSD ahead I think...Your so good to clear the balance SS, Ill be honest I cant be trusted with mine, Its like i unleash a spendy monster. & the limit on it is stupid like 8k...i dont trust myself to use it, what i need is a top up credit card like what i use for holidays lol!
By the way Im loving thew targets at the end of your signature may have to borrow that idea, its fab!
Today my target is- get to work on time (should leave in 10mins), Cycle in, spend nothing. Call 0r@ng3 to cancel line and get puk no. & have a good day...should be easy right....heres hoping!! Have a wonderful day SS & anyone else who reads this...happy Monday xXDFD-01.03.2018:starmod: :T

Hi Trixxibell!! Thank you, I am Promise!!:D.... My boss sent me a quote after I failed which I printed off as it inspired me, kind of works for our debt journey too:
"Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside & something else will take its place. If I quit however it lasts forever"- Lance Armstrong!
So for me right now, Im regrouping and getting ready, new materials sent for, ready to study & scouring MSE to find some mre ways too save...no quitting, I dont want to live my life with debt..& thats what happens if I dont keep it up....ill slip back to old ways...
Today has been a good day, cycled in, had to buy lunch opted for bagels (on special), but will cover me this week as breakfast cereal ran out.
Have posted off my old mobile, hopefully will get the £36 for that, and £3.50 cash back. Opted for a new mobile, went through quidco of course (do love me some cash back lol) really cant use this current phone the keys are too small & my hands are too big- but got a good deal £12.50pm I can live with that and the guy at the shop also gave me a 02 sim with £10 free credit will use this if I run out  but the best discovery of the day was that my exam fee was taken twice so I have a nice refund coming back to my account, Im so happy about this!!!:j:j I will be ok this month and anything I have remaining on the 25th will be transfered to cc2, but such a relief, was worried for a sec;)
Have joined freecycle for my area, ready or when I get my new place, plan to furnish it with as little as possible so will be keeping eyes peeled on the messages coming up...feeling pretty optimistic...but please roll on payday!!!
Hope everyone has a fab & frugal day x
