    Hi Minny Moo,

Thank you hun, heard from them today, bidded got number one then apparently someone reviewed my application again and decided that as I have a room at my parents home I am adequately housed & there's nothing they can do for me...felt like a serious kick in the teeth but to be honest im actually used to it.
Can appeal so I will but Im not holding out much hope. so I guess its more incentive to plod on and get this whole debt thing cleared up and sorted as soon as possible. Then onto deposit and then try to buy somewhere...im gonna be in this for the long haul. Anyway I hope youre well lovely and your debt busting is going well :) x

ok so back to business, no time for shouldve, wouldve couldves, it was a nice dream whilst it lasted but this is what i have to deal with so i will deal- payment made to cc2 of £20, have £14 left in my account till payday, im sure ill cope, have nothing planned. The plan is to live on a shoestring until ive got this cleared up. no major nights out, no more luxury hair cuts...dating going to be put on hold too...ever tried explaining to a potential that not only are you in debt but you live with your parents...makes you a real catch:rotfl::rotfl: ...
Ok so aim for this payday is to pay minimum of £1700 towards the debts, to make sure this gets done I will pay it off as soon as i get paid:eek: roll on payday *gulp* ;)

    Good morning diary land,

ok so yesterday I wrote a complaint letter to the council, to be honest I was venting but it felt so good!!! my boss chopped it up and made it more professional, bless her, she really is one in a million. Must buy her some flowers and a thank you card when I get paid. I felt instantly better after I sent it & whilst they cant help me, I do understand there are people worse off that need there assistance, but I wanted to point out that they could review there procedures to ensure no one else gets their hopes built up & wastes time chasing them. ok Last complaint I will do on this matter (i hope). Today I looked into rent to save scheme, which offers affordable rented accommodation you can also save for a deposit if you wish. Its part of the governments right to buy scheme. I have decided im not going to worry or moan anymore, either take action or keep it shut :) ..so enquired about 2 properties, as I would love my own space. In the mean time I will pay off as much debt as I can. Its just reassuring to know there are choices after this mess is cleaned up.

At present moment I have 0 pennies in the bank, so this weekend will be incredibly cheap & cheerful- I dont get paid till Tuesday. Funny I should be annoyed at not having any money on bank holiday weekend, instead im quite ok with it. My car has petrol, the park is free its a nice day, have dvd's should it rain. Im setting myself the challenge of a no spend bank holiday weekend! and im happy for it. I will work on my budget to ensure everypenny of this paycheque coming is accounted for...at least ill be prepared. Will do some studying I am going to pass this exam this time, nothing will stop me....I am at the place where it could be worse, I am healthy, i have a job and if i choose my thoughts well I am happy...If I choose my behaviour well I will soon be debt free, that would be awesome...11 months to go to the deadline, imagine that theres every possibility I could be debt free in 11 months (obv this means staying at home) but hey at least after ill have options, this thought makes it not so bad.
Got a free audio book with ama8z0n 30day trial, down loaded motivational book, its really helping feeling better already. Need to remember to cancel it at the end.

Hope everyone has a really wonderful bank holiday weekend:beer:

Have updated my signature, was a little higher than i had expected, mustve calculated wrong somewhere. Noticed that my remaining debt to date (cc2 &d3 combined) is the exact amount of debt I got hit with in November (d3 starting bal)- £21612 odd, so I guess had it not been for that, this month wouldve been my debt free month, haha well In my eyes this amount is the last chunk...the last one standing- although spread over two as I pay back d3 in installments...Thats money taken from cc2!! It made me chuckle...just had to share that...Time to take on the last bit hurry up payday, I need you :) xx

Good Morning MSE world, happy Sunday!!

Yesterday I managed a NSD, workman whom fitting new windows in an emmpty house somehow managed to get cement like stuff on my car, it looked a state, still trying to figure out how that could happen. Thankfully my mum asked me to take her shopping (lift only not bankroll it) and paid for my car to be cleaned as a thank you, I was so happy about this, looks much better and miraculously no damage to the paint work...So alls well thats ends well. going to try and have another nsd...weyhey!!!

Afternoon, so have spent the day idly, watching films and working on new budget for this months paycheque: here it is, will need tweeking & I will cut it down as best I can but will try and follow this:

    Budget- Aug- Sept 14

    Other 0.00
    Income totals 2,230.00

    rent 252.00
    Utilities 50.00
    mobile dd 14.60
    Council Tax 60.00
    Food shop 40.00
    Petrol 20.00
    Public transportation 30.00

    cc2 min payment 88.00
    Expenses 1,157.85

    Total ( add.to be paid cc2) 1,072.15

Well that covers that, tidied up a bit found a body set still in box will give that to my sis in law for her birthday, and have a babybox set, brought it as it was a bargain ready for when friends sprogged up, got lost in the depths of my storage cupboard. My cousin is expecting, so will be gifted to her. Found a thank you card for my boss in the occasions box:)...actually not such an idle day after all....currently reading pennyforthepot 6yr challenge for some motivation...honestly I could get lost in peoples diaries for ages, always sneaking frugal/mse tips&tricks!...happy days!

Meeting up with the girls on Wednesday, have agreed on cheap & cheerful & to make use of the tastecards bless them, looking so forward to seeing them, budgeted £20 should easily be enough. If I come home with change even better. Transport for the day will be about £4.50- yes I calculated it:o ...gotta watch my pennies now :)...right back to lurking and learning...have a fab Sunday eve x

    Good Morning Diary Land!!

Ok so Ive been thinking to keep me on task this September I am going to set myself challenges to make sure I dont stray and blow my hard earned salary on [STRIKE]sex[/STRIKE] shoes, [STRIKE]drugs[/STRIKE] booze & rock&roll! So Looking at the challenges board and old threads heres what im going to try my hand at:
    • NSD challenge-@least 20 NSD in September
    • Home made lunch everyday for work
    • Make £10 a day= £300 extra income this month
    • Pay debt as soon as month begins- live off the rest
    • Start sealed pot challenge- for my pocket change & roadkill
    • Ebay- list between 20-50 items for sale
    • Donate £5 to foodbank
    • Exercise - at least 4x week
    • Study 5x a week for min 2hrs
    • Cycle/walk to work (where possible)
    • write down 10 things im grateful for everyday

Ok I think that pretty much covers what I found and will try this month.

Have been online checking out school uniform prices, bags, shoes etc.Already got sis 2 polo tops, tights and 2 dresses.. Have also explained to my mum that I will help out but will not be buying kickers and fancy goods like last year. This year will be on a budget...went down like a led balloon:rotfl: but im sticking to it:D

need to look for bits to ebay today, basically anything I dont use or havent used in a while will go on...

Have opted to open up another account for the free £100, hopefully will receive that in time to go towards my extra £300 income...will have another time delay on my money but £100 is £100:money: plus they give £25 to a charity on my behalf, I will put that towards my charity total...so now only £25 to give (that may be a bit cheeky but every little helps):o

Have put up a sign in my room with £21,614.25 written on it, that should encourage me to kick its !!!!! and bring it down..also put a note in my purse, will remind me when I take money out..(hopefully will make me think twice;)) ...well thats about as far as I got this morning...Hope you all have a fab Bank holiday Monday  x

Hi Trixxibell!!:hello: Thank you hun..im kinda looking forward to it too...Hope your well hun!!

Though have been paid but cant transfer anything as yet as my cash needs to move from pillar to post so I can get my rewards...guess its still not September yet!! I have such a hard time parting with money, quite funny since I had no problem racking up debts:rotfl:

    Ok actions so far:

Topped up oyster with £10/£20 budget, need this for tonight as meeting the girls after work, also withdrew £20 note my aim is to not use my card tonight.
Arranged to pay council tax by DD, hopefully will get cashback with my santander account, also put cc2 on direct debit which will be 2 so should satisfy the cash back criteria. also activates the £2 pm account fee:( but shows i should get £50 cash back pa and account fee is £24pa so makes sense, figured Im paying council tax anyway so what the hey:D

Have donated my £5 to the food bank & made a sealed pot and thrown my pennies in there (about £2.40 odd- tis a start), have cycled in and made lunch except today where I thought work were providing lunch but wont be till this evening so wont be able to make it till then...may need to get something...bar humbug!!:(

Ebay bids going ok, have a bid for £40 for an item so can add that to £10pd challenge:j...

Hope everyones having a wonderful wednesday..xX

    Evening diaryland,

So have managed a NSD, had a decent day at work but sooo tired, night out with girlies last night, spent exactly £20 no change:( :rotfl:

Was a really nice evening, had a good laugh and a good old chat, nothing helps sort out your perspective than a good talk with friends, gave me much to think about. Will be the last meet up for a bit...I really have to knuckle down and study and pull the purse strings tight:D

Today treated my own hair, saved myself £40...I'm sure my stylist will disapprove, my bank balance doesnt. Going to try space out my salon visits more than every 2 weeks with out damaging my hair, see if I can save some pennies...Other than that nothing more to report just looking forward to the weekend, could really do with a lie in:D hope your all having a fab evening XX
