Now that's a filleted selection of 'chapter headings', if you like, that pop up when you put CAPUK into Google.
Choose any one, natalie. Today is Easter Monday, a day of renewal and you can begin again. Your son must be a happy chappie right now with LFC's results. Did you notice my #152? - let me know the answer:-)
I'm away 'til mid-June after Friday[OAP only, with 2 yrs' saving for this trip] and would love to know before I go.
Does school not operate a recycyled uniform shop? It was the norm when my children were that age.
Take real care. Hugs to you both, big squeezy real ones, with added snuggles and:

Hi - re school trousers - when son is back at school why not ask to see the 'lost uniform' box.
Most (all) schools have then and just say you seem to be missing some things form last term - they'll let you rummage and you will surely find some good stuff and no one is to know its not yours. They'll also be glad to have got rid of some stuff too.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -
Hi I did look at end of term but there was no pants it was mainly jumpers and ties
I don't no what to do at the moment feel desperate even been trying to find a loan shark person as there's no ither way I can get a loan
Phoning cap when I get back0 -
Please stay away from further loans - there must be some charitys locally that could offer some help - hope someone comes on with local knowledge for you.
I know you feel desperate but taking on more debt with high interest won't help in the long run.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -
natalie, natalie - calling you loudly, AND VERY SHOUTILY dear girl...DON'T GO LOOKING FOR A LOAN SHARK.
Call CAPUK before anything. Hope 'when I get back' means 'when I get back from taking son to school'.
Just wait while I put the virtual kettle on - mse has hundreds of these, extremely useful for all times of day and night when people just need to settle down, chat in friendship and/or anonymity, settle themselves and their thoughts before making big decisions....St Martin of Lewis is an OK fella by me.
Now, let's make you that cuppa...tell me what milk, how much, what sugar, how many.....and just sit, sit, sit for a few minutes.
Then dial 01274-760720. If you have to leave your no., do so. Don't lose heart at this stage. Put your postcode in and see where your nearest help point is.
May I ask for that, please? The next thing is to see about getting there. You just won't believe how different you feel for [a[ making the decision going there [c] talking to a financial expert someone, who truly, really cares about you, nataliedee, and your son and your future.
yes, they are a Charity, but they are also repeat Winners of top Business Awards:-).

Noooo don't go there. Honestly. It's not worth the grief.
Let us know how it went with CAP. XX0 -
Natalie - I'm off on a hunt around the charity shops TODAY in the town where you live - but I'm trying Prescot first. I'm looking for age 13-14 (dgs1 couldn't fasten his damn school trousers this morning so DD has had to keep the horror home from school
What age are you looking for?
Can I keep my eyes open for some for you at the same time?
I'm going to PM you with my mobile number - please contact me.0 -
Natalie there might be some one on freecycle who has Kiddies school trousers their own child has grown out of that you could have. You could always leave a 'wanted' post with the size you are looking for.
Charity shops often have them all in one section (all the school clothes).
We used to get ours from second hand school uniform sales at the primary school so it might be worth asking there.0 -
Think with Freecycle don't you have to have donated three things first before you can post a wanted post?Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0
