We have a set of allen keys on a ring. Nothing more annoying than a chair leg wobbling and you can't find the original allen key that was supplied.

I have two systems, depending on what's appropriate:

1] If just one allen key is supplied, I'd tape that out of sight to the unit.
2] I put all paperwork/spare parts/etc into a resealable sandwich bag and I lob all those sandwich bags into one box. This goes for anything I buy, from a camera to a shelf. If it's got instructions/leads/whatever into a sandwich bag it goes.

Thanks everyone and especially to Spirit in her valiant attempt to stay awake. Hope you're feeling better now the day's getting on.

Just to cheer you up..had a completely !!!!!! day at work:)

In the the horrible week I was expecting, I had not planned in for today... 3 massive complaints from the same nutjob, a massive email rant from same, a threat of police action from same and at least three other complex communications today involving the same.

This nut has implicated so many in what is likely to be a major fabrication that I am practically last man standing which is why all current carp from them is directed to me.

My planned horrible day is Friday:)

Well, if you end up down my way, consider me your personal "on a whim" personal shopper, to collect/deliver any/all items you want, or need ..... except funny food from posh shops where I won't know what I'm buying. Anything from big new pants or a new nightie, to Harpers & Queen or tissues with a particular, unusual, moisturising cream embedded in them before they're hand-sewn by virgins in an eco-friendly fairtrade scheme village in the Amazon.

    :)

Happy to do round trips of up to 50 miles.

You cannot imagine what a useful offer that is.

A colleague once shopped for a post op wardrobe for me. Nighties (front fastening) Bras two sizes and several cup sizes bigger than my pre op one's.

My bosom had swollen due to the op and was way too heavy to be unsupported. TMI next ..look away now if you are shy...when bosom deflated they had headed in a southerly direction were sadly never the same as pre op.

An unexpected consequence of them sawing your sternum in half and chopping out a mammary artery. Men do not have this problem.

I hadn't even considered it but makes sense boobs would pull on that wound. Ouch.

Bras cannot have been comfortable either.

I was complaining to myself earlier today as I'd stupidly worn an underwired bra to a pilates class. Spirit put my travails into perspective, that's for sure. Ouch!

While typing that, my ever helpful tablet typed underworld bra instead of underwired. In celebration of this, I've decided to rename the twins Ronnie and Reggie.

My thighs were stolen from me during the night a few years ago. It was just that quick. I went to sleep in my body and woke up with someone else's thighs. The new ones were the texture of lumpy porridge. Who would have done such a cruel thing to legs that had been mine for years?

Whose thighs were these and what had happened to mine? I spent the entire summer looking for my thighs. Finally, hurt and angry I resigned myself to living out my life in jeans and those tights that pull everything in. Then; just when I let my guard down, the thieves struck again.

My !!! was next! I knew it was the same gang, because they took great pains to match my new rear end to the thighs they had lumbered me with earlier. I couldn't believe it; my new !!! was attached at least three inches lower than my original had been. Now, my backside complemented my thighs lump for lump. Frantically, I prayed that long skirts would stay in fashion.

Last year I realised my arms had been switched. One morning I was brushing my hair when I watched, horrified, but at the same time fascinated, as the flesh of my upper arms swung to and fro with the motion of the hairbrush. This was getting really scary. My body was being replaced one section at a time. How Clever and fiendish. I was being attacked repeatedly and without warning. In despair I gave up short sleeved t-shirts.

Last month my neck disappeared faster than the Christmas turkey, which it now resembles.

I can't take on the medical profession by myself. WOMEN OF THE WORLD; WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE! That really isn't plastic those surgeons are using. You KNOW where they are getting those replacement parts, don't You? The next time you suspect someone has had their face 'lifted', look again. Was it 'lifted' from you? I think I finally found my thighs and I hope Cindy Crawford paid a really good price for them!!

THIS IS NOT A HOAX! THIS IS HAPPENING TO WOMEN IN YOUR TOWN EVERY NIGHT! WARN YOUR FRIENDS!

P.S. How paranoid am I ? Last night I thought someone had stolen my breasts. I was lying in bed and they were gone! As I jumped out of bed in a panic, I was relieved to find that they had just been hiding in my armpits as I slept. Now I am keeping them safely tucked into my waistband!
Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Good luck Gen. What do they do at the radio follow up? Is that to see whether you are returning to normal following burns etc? Sorry, don't know much about radio other than my mum had it.

    They definitely do pull.
As for comfort - if they pull off over the head that's almost impossible to do and hurts too much, back fastening involves contortions which are way too much effort!
