    @r $ e cancer is the #2 cancer killer in Aus according to the radio yesterday. People don't get it treated. Every Aussie over age 50 gets a thing that they poo into and then post to a lab. Your poo gets tested for @r $ e cancer for 'free'

    So my mouth and face will get progressively more burnt for the next week or so and then will start to get better. It should all clear up within a month.

    I've got to go and see the cancer bloke in 3 weeks and the skin bloke in 6 weeks.

    This was discussed a while back. WW1 was round about the time that medicine first started working (obviously not really, but statistically started working on average more efficiently that it hurt/killed you on average).

    I'm ok thanks. Just very much in limbo at the moment. Hate my present situation but I feel optimistic about things, so it could be a lot worse :)

    I've been told to gargle using salt and bicarbonate of soda. What a difference it makes. Fantastic!

    My grandad used to salt gargle and its an old but a good remedy.

    But 15 down, no more to go. Best news of the day. Here's hoping you soon feel properly better Gen.
    Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.
