A heads-up for the NPs who use ocado. Grapes are £3.95 per packet or 5 packets for £2! (40 p per packet.) That comes to 3.75 kilos of grapes, so please give any surplus away rather than wasting them.

Hmmmmm - sneakiness. I can see the offer on Ocado, on 3 different types of grapes, but all are out of stock.

In other news, jelly 1 brambles 0. Next door is quite seriously overgrown. Big stuff (even coming through the fence! )

Don't forget to leave enough brambles for blackberries?

Are you enjoying your new pad? Sounds like it!
We are in! No hitches and currently drinking cheapo bubbly plonk in an empty house. Furniture arrives tomorrow.

Fantastic! All the best to you and Mrs Legoff. Are you sleeping there tonight?

    That's good :)

Not sure how I'll end up getting broadband available when I move .... not sure how all that "moving/changing numbers" works really :)

I've a number here and I think they have Sky there. Also, exchange is a different STD Code. So no idea how it works out.... there's a slim chance it doesn't even have a phone line (which hadn't occurred to me until this minute!). I suspect phone line might have got a mention on the F&F forms/paperwork.... all those tick boxes.

You have to have a phone line to get sky installed - they won't do it without one. It must therefore have one although it could be inactive.

Yup - on an inflatable mattress! Dinner will either be pizza or the pub I think.

Cheers, saves me ploughing through the paperwork for clues :)

I've never had Sky .... so didn't scour the F&F to see if they're leaving the dish or not either.

It took 6 weeks to get broadband when I moved in here!

I doubt they would take the dish - sky don't charge you to install them. I imagine most people who move house with sky cancel their account and then open one as a new customer at the new address as they give you all the new customer incentives again and an up to date sky box etc.

I think it's a one-way decision. I hope they won't regret it, but of course there's no guarantee; it's a decision we made carefully, and I hope with good motives, so we can only hope.

Much easier than to have not had it done and then wanted to go through the procedure in later life.

Thanks for pointing it out - I can pick up some tips :)

Question: You don't need rawplugs to hang up a photo do you?!

My reputation for tact has been secured by this discussion between the vet and me.

Vet. This lipoma won't get better on its own. We could operate.
Me. How much would that cost?
    Vet. Around £700.
Me. Cheaper to get a new dog.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
