Cherries are my favourite fruit, good choice lir :)

Look after yourself too my dearest.

Cherry ice cream is very good if you have a lot of cherries.

It's great with chocolate cake as the acceptable face of black forest gateau.

I feel ok. Fir said I was a pita ( not those words or anything like them) on Saturday. :o. I needed to hear that I think. Kiwi is making it hard to type. He wants me to stroke his head and he had beef and tripe 'soup' for breakfast so he doesn't smell that great:o

Its wet here again and the digs don't want to walk.

All the best Gen, I admit the whole thing is pretty scary to me, think I would be a blubering wreck if I was you.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Oh and thanks for all the messages of support everyone. It definitely helps :)

Good. I (and the rest of the NP I imagine) just wish we could do more.

Glad it wasn't too bad today. Hope you find a permitted valium substitute.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

No, no reason at all .... you choose what you do and don't let anybody tell you different.

I don't care how unacceptable it's face is, I love black forest gateau (and I'd generally rather have a starter than a dessert)

I'm not too far off quite frankly. I must have woken 5 times last night and that's pretty much a nightly occurrence. It probably doesn't help that I do a very stressful, highly visible job. Most of what I do ends up with board members one way or another.

The permitted valium substitute is big deep breaths. Not really the same thing.

We had very nice chocolate pudding on Sunday night. This recipe basically:

    http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/8168/chocolate-fondant

No caramel sauce, just cream. Actually this is one that's fantastic with cherry ice cream. The trick to this is to chill the pudding in the fridge before you cook it. That way you always get the molten centre.
