No matter how often it gets posted.

NDG, Seth McFarlane's on a repeat of the Graham Norton show and sys that Stewie's voice is based on Rex Harrison.
I
Had to Wiki him - as he married 6 times, he might not have been gay. Or he might have been a slow learner....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
And I'm out. It really wasn't much fun but it could have been a lot worse. It's extremely claustrophobic: I'm getting valium for future visits. I see no reason to tough this out.
I'd go for a glass of wine but it seems a bit decadent at 10am!0 -
Any sign of superpowers yet?I'd go for a glass of wine but it seems a bit decadent at 10am!

Not unless sitting around feeling sorry for myself counts as a superpower.
It's a rubbish superhero. " Mr Self-Pity, Mr Big is about to destroy the world".

Hamish, you've been flying too much. That's a line stewardesses use before they fill your glass at too early an hour.

Hmm..... Nope.
I'm secretly relieved.
This board only has room for one superhero Avatar.:p“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Phew.... At least now I don't feel like an imposter.:DHamish, you've been flying too much.
And don't I know it. I've spent almost 35 hours on aircraft in the last 10 days.
All in 'prisoner of war' class.
I think I need superhero powers to get my spine back in alignment.
Or a Chiropractor.
But the powers sound like more fun....:cool:That's a line stewardesses use before they fill your glass at too early an hour.
As someone that has quite a bit of experience with both stewardesses and alcohol, can I just say, that is categorically untrue.
There is no such thing as "too early an hour".
For either one.

Speaking of stewardesses after what I've read on other threads here, I'll never use the kettle in a room in a hotel that airline staff use. The worrying thing is I almost certainly have.:eek:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0
