Few minor changes I have to make to business plan... but, basically, computer says yes.
Kind of unexpected, really.
Good news.Well done. :T
What is the next step from here?Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

Update business plan, then lots and lots of paperwork...
Mostly, I kind of expect things to go quiet for about 5 weeks as wheels grind in the background then be working my tail off for the next 2 years. If the business works to plan (they never do) I'm going to try to get it to the next stage within 5 years which will mean selling out...“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

Most of that goes whoosh for me, I'm afraid. I hope it all works out brilliantly for you, though.
Need to go and see what DD is up to with borrowed dog, who arrived late this afternoon and is staying for 48ish hrs while her humans are away.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Don't worry, Lydia... I can't say very much at the moment so I'm not surprised if it sounds cryptic...

But the burgers have been nice
It's not the same - and you can look a tw4t, but if you're likely to sink 6-8 burgers over an afternoon and want to minimise the bread roll effect, maybe next time grate some carrot and wrap the cooked burger inside a big lettuce leaf with carrot/softened onion (and your usual ketchup/whatever).... 6-8 rolls missing would save you 1000 calories.
it's not worth doing it for 1-2 ... only if you know you're going to sink half a cow between bits of bread.0 -

It's a good idea, but it was a homemade massive burger (i.e. a cowburger) so there weren't too many calories from the bread. Just the fried onion rings, and the huge slab of cheese made it a triffle unhealthy.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

Ah .... there's a pizza place I went to 15 years ago that serves onion rings to the table on a 1' high wooden pole..... certainly makes you eat more when they turn up like that!
Cheese is never good calories wise. Having said that, if you're on a diet, it's good to have a small chunk of cheese every day (I mean 50g or a small matchbox size/similar).... scientists looked into it and they're not entirely sure how/why, but that bit of cheese does something that makes you lose weight a bit faster ..... faster than somebody who is avoiding cheese as it's high calories.
So, bit of an odd one .... but worth knowing a cheesy nibble a day's not banned.0 -
Thanks Lydia, I'm sad for your DD, it's good that you've recognised it and that there is hope to fix it. My best friend's mum has this problem and it's a debilitating mental illness at its worst. We bought a house that belonged to a compulsive hoarder. Doozer managed to take 25 bins bags of brand new clothes, still in packaging, to charity shops before he got bored and it started going in skips with everything else. It cost £5000 to empty.
My D is just allergic to cleaning and clearing. Doozer puts things in strange places and then it all starts to spiral, quite quickly and then stays that way for ages. It doesn't help that I am not particularly motivated to improve the general standard in here until more is finished.
This week, a layer of topsoil (read Clay) was dumped on the front. It is only supposed to be either side of front path but it is EVERYWHERE. Brick path is needed immediately.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
