I'm now out of biscuits and maltesers but also in a tailspin personally over it. I have retreated to the bath with wine.
Since four, we have cleared two bin bags of rubbish, a bin bag of teddies for the school fete, a bin bag of design-a-bear for cousin and a large pile of books that she has grown out of. The room looks emptier, but still a mess.
She has an obsession for bags, small boxes and tiny objects. The bags will be addressed tomorrow. DS never cared for tiny things that have no sensible home.
That is a massive massive achievement. :T:T:T:T:T
Well done both of you. Please try not to be in a tailspin or feel that you have failed. You have made huge progress. You can make more huge progress in a second instalment some other time. Rome wasn't built in a day and all that.
I can't even start with mine. I am hoping to be able to make a beginning at some point in the foreseeable future, though. We had a big step forward yesterday when she had her appointment for an updated psych report for her compensation claim. The psychologist agrees that yes, she has a significant problem with not being able to let go of anything, that yes, it is a direct result of losing her dad, and so she should have specialist intervention which should be paid for by the various parties liable for the accident.
On previous trips for psych assessments, he asked loads of questions about her sleep habits, academic progress, friendships, etc etc, but didn't ask about her dealings with "stuff" and I didn't think to mention it. I brought it up this time, but it's only because of watching The Hoarder Next Door that I now know that compulsive hoarding (as opposed to merely being a bit fond of holding onto clutter) is a recognisable and treatable disorder that's very strongly correlated with major losses in childhood, especially losing a parent. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

How was the no no no cat?
He didn't come:j
I did cry a little with the face cagebut not sobs, just tears, no noise.
It was much nicer than last tube, but I remember last time I liked it once in there. This was less cosy, but was the cleanest 'place' I've ever been. And the nurses(?) were just lovely.
Once in I was so relaxed I , er...drifted off.
One of the images was redone because I might have wriggled or flinched a bit in my dozey dream.
My dreams were surreal, but funny.
I was a bit annoyed when it was over. It was warm, snug and clean in there and no one could pester me apart from that nurse.
Ct was also fine, very quick and kinda fun, whizz ing through it. Compare to still of MRI. The cannula for the iodine stuff though seems to be one for elephants. Big.
I did't get a warm flush of iodine, ( apart from in my "word you probably aren't allowed to say on Mse) I felt like the right temperature for a moment, a feeling I had truley forgotten the feeling off. Afterwards my teeth chattered quite a lot for seven minutes, then I was fine again
Before I left the other hospital called and called be back.. Iiuc my tests have raised some more questions and I need further ones, early morning ones this time, so because I cannot do tomorrow ( I'm too tired I know my limits) I 'm going in next week for those.
Feel fine, good and content.0 -
You are not talking me into it.
I think it is such a no no that I cannot get past the word "oyster" without thinking eurgh.
And they look like phlegm in a shell.
I am extremely wary of lovers who won't eat oysters.
Fwiw, I love oysters. They are filling, healthy, delicious and low cal. An amazing supper and very waistline friendly, oysters and a glass of champagne. For me lemon and green Tabasco.
Lots of things don't look good but are. I mean, gentalia is hardly 'pretty' but I wouldn't be without it,

I appear to have mislaid the lever that actually closes my mouth:(. I wittered on in DT on the Free Weight Watchers Classes thread. It absolutely drives me nuts that I can control the rest of my life, but not weight.. Too dull for the NP thread!
Yeah... bad diet week for me this week. Had to move my fast day from my normal wednesday to tomorrow... it's basically been a holiday week where I've had lots of family members around and eaten bad food.
I think if I weigh in at the same weight as last week I'll be surprised and very happy... I've probably gained weight this week.
But the burgers have been nice, and I'll just try to get back on track next week.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

Few minor changes I have to make to business plan... but, basically, computer says yes.
Kind of unexpected, really.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

I wish.
It might mean being treated by the actual Greek bloke off the show, though, which would be exciting. I think if I wanted the two blonde women I'd have to pay for them myself, which would be lovely, but probably very expensive. I wonder how much they cost?Do you know anyone who's bereaved?
