It is now bed time. My levels are pretty near perfect:j
Does that mean I have to eat something so I do not have a Hypo or will my body go into...we need food mode and start generating its own glucose as it did a few weeks ago.
I feel like this is a lucky dip decision as I have no idea what is for the best.
My googling before said eat some protein before going to bed.
I need to sleep (long day tomorrow) but because I have slept/been drowsy most of the day I am now skipping about like a spring lamb.
Have packed the car and had a lovely moment thinking about the NP meet up I went to. Picturing faces, recalling hearing accents/NP voices.
I am using a hand bag tomorrow that I must not have used since that evening. It had Zag and Gen's mobile numbers on a post it in the pocket . It also had a forgotten emergency £50 in it (in case cards/purse nicked), so this has been an unprecedented week for returns on investments in handbags (£90 from two bags).
On the not so good side the bag had chewing gum stuck to the bottom (yuk).
Ok if Lydia is still up..it is time to go to sleep..or in my case eat goats cheese or parma ham then go to sleep.
Never eat cheese before bedtime, it stops you going to sleep and then gives you nightmares.spirit wrote:Well I am up and wide awake having not yet gone to sleep.
I feel like telling myself off. "Just go to sleep. It's your own fault, you slept too much in the day".
I take it you chose the cheese?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Dh would strong ly disagree.
He has run extensive personal experimentation on which cheese he prefers before bed for the best and craziest dreams.
I've just asked and he likes blue cheese dreams but feels Haloumi dreams are actually his best.0 -

The enclosure after a shower just once won't be enough. It does work, but it takes a long time and a lot of steam. If you don't need to wear the coat for a while, just hang it in the bathroom and leave it there. After a week or so of everybody having showers in there, you will start to notice a difference - more so if your shower enclosure has only 3 sides so the steam gets out into the bathroom than if it's got all 4 sides closed.Your mobile should have its own calendar.
If it's a Samsung then it will have S Planner. All you do is input your gmail account info into the S Planner settings and your Google calendar will sync with it.
Have a look at this link<
There will be a full screen size widget for it too.
Thank you. I can't see anything called S planner. There is something called Calendar, but it's very basic and doesn't have the sort of functionality that I want. It's an Ace 2. I got it last summer at the beginning of August and it is running Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread. Should it have S planner?
ETA: Further investigation suggests that I ought to be able to get its operating system upgraded to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, and that in fact the upgrade to Jelly Bean should have happened in April last year - ie before I bought the phone. Not impressed. Will use the time over half term to make sure there's nothing on it that's not also on my laptop, and go into the local EE shop and see what they can do. I gather Jelly Bean should include S Planner.Never eat cheese before bedtime, it stops you going to sleep and then gives you nightmares.

Is that really true? I always thought it was a myth. I sometimes have trouble sleeping, and sometimes have weird dreams, but there's no correlation with when I eat cheese.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Seriously, DH has a cheese and dream chart.
He also has a pink whistley cheese tasting notes. Her favourite is Brie. We don't know how it impacts on her dreams.
I feel GREAT this morning. No sign of yesterday's issue that sent me to the community hospital, so ...off to do some weeding!

Enjoy feeling great, and don't overdo the weeding.PasturesNew wrote: »There's a flaw, just me, no everybody. I also don't have the shower steaming hot, nor do I shower for long....
The "just you" and "not for long" issues would merely mean it took more days to have an effect. The "not steaming hot" probably means it won't work.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? If you have another Samsung calendar app then it probably wont have S Planner.
Android got a lot better from 4 (jellybean) onwards.
4.4 (Kitkat) is the latest version and because it is "lighter" it can run on mostly all devices. There won't be an official update for your mobile, but it is possible to install a version of it.

This would bring new life to your mobile, but there is a slight chance problems could be encountered and i'd advise to let someone (local) who is experienced in changing "roms" do it for you, or you could take the chance if you were thinking of upgrading your mobile anyway.
Android has come a long way since 2.3.60
