It is now bed time. My levels are pretty near perfect:j
Does that mean I have to eat something so I do not have a Hypo or will my body go into...we need food mode and start generating its own glucose as it did a few weeks ago.
I feel like this is a lucky dip decision as I have no idea what is for the best.
My googling before said eat some protein before going to bed.
I need to sleep (long day tomorrow) but because I have slept/been drowsy most of the day I am now skipping about like a spring lamb.
Have packed the car and had a lovely moment thinking about the NP meet up I went to. Picturing faces, recalling hearing accents/NP voices.
I am using a hand bag tomorrow that I must not have used since that evening. It had Zag and Gen's mobile numbers on a post it in the pocket . It also had a forgotten emergency £50 in it (in case cards/purse nicked), so this has been an unprecedented week for returns on investments in handbags (£90 from two bags).
On the not so good side the bag had chewing gum stuck to the bottom (yuk).
Ok if Lydia is still up..it is time to go to sleep..or in my case eat goats cheese or parma ham then go to sleep.
Good night Spirit.
Hope your levels do what they're supposed to do, and that you have a great day out tomorrow.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Just read BBC and wanted to say to Jewish NP and those NP close to Jewish people how sickened I am by the horrible anti semitic attack that has taken place in Brussels. I am so sorry, that we are still in a place where fanatics and closed minds single out cultural identity as a target for violence.
Just read it too.
Thank you Spirit for expressing what I want to say much better than I could have said it.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Am watching the BBC2 comedy programme (last 50 years etc). They've done double acts and are now onto catchphrases. It's quite fun, particularly after a second glass of wine
:rotfl:
This has been a classy show! :beer:I think DS2 worries we won't look normal and that we think that everyone else is like us.
My parents met my in-laws without being aware. Turned out they had a mutual friend who heard from one side or the other that we were together and got the parents together without us knowing. I always thought the mutual friend was nosy. I was not impressed. As it happened parents and in-laws got on well and had they lived nearer I'm sure they would have been friends.
I met my future in-laws before I started dating the lovely Mrs Zag. Smartest thing I've ever done, except it was by accident.;)There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
Well I am up and wide awake having not yet gone to sleep.
I feel like telling myself off. "Just go to sleep. It's your own fault, you slept too much in the day".
I have even thought about taking the rest of the handbags down from the top of the wardrobe and out of the drawers in a search for more forgotten funds. The other impressive things in my resurrected hand bags this week was the volume of tissues, the number of nasty logo'd biros and a quantity of crumbs (from what?) in the hand bag I cleared out today.0 -
A top tip.
If you fold your best coat up and put it on the back seat of the car, do not then let the shop assistant place a 20KG sack of cat litter on it and then you leave it in the car from Friday to Sunday.
Your coat will be very creased.
I am currently testing the theory that hanging clothes in a steamy bathroom will make the creases drop out.
Bath and sink full of very hot water and bathroom window shut. (second fill as I did the first before going to bed). The bathroom looks and smells like a turkish bath . Vile.0 -
I'm sort of about.
This is where I stayed to dog sit the other weekend:

That's me done buying books now for the rest of the year!
I won't recommend Jeremy Vine' s book then. It's a gossipy approach to working in the BBC's newsroom, and sits well with the Alain de Botton book about the philosophy of news and Nick Davis's Flat Earth News about how newspapers set agendas and get news. I am a total news junkie and need to stop reading about it when I'm not reading, listening to or watching it.
Will you join the local library when you move? Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Grrrr here too.
After receiving some helpful advice from a Nice Person by PM, I finally decided that yes, I probably should switch to google calendar etc. Except now I find out that it the google calendar app for Android isn't compatible with my phone.
?????? This is an Android. It's supposed to be all google-minded. I got it new last summer. The Google calendar app has been around a lot longer than that. Why isn't it compatible?
Your mobile should have its own calendar.
If it's a Samsung then it will have S Planner. All you do is input your gmail account info into the S Planner settings and your Google calendar will sync with it.
Have a look at this link<
There will be a full screen size widget for it too.0 -

It's the scenic drive south of Sydney down to Wolongong and beyond. The town at the end ofnthe bay is Wolongong.
It smelled very Australian as the trees are all gums so all you can smell when the sun comes out is eucalyptus oil.
Believe it or not, there are 2 working mines within 5 miles of where I took that picture, one of which you can see! They're about to start fracking round there too so we'll see how that gies. It's a lovely area but they need to earn a living.0
