Yes please. That would be a POSH ALERT.
OH went again this morning. Different president this week. Third in three weeks..I made sure he cut the grass, walked the duppy and cooked dinner when he was home to help keep him grounded.
Just so glad the heir to the throne kept his opinions to himself until this week.

Fabulous. Thank you for posting it.
My husband loves Lilies and if I buy cut flowers I usually include lilies.
What conditions do they grow in?
I did not know they were poisonous to cats. We have our cat Meggle and also have day lilies in the garden.0 -
Lilies are frightfully dangerous. If we get given them spirit I cut out the bits on the inside which bear pollen ( name escapes me.....silly brains the stigma and the stamen), so that it cannot be knocked off both to stain furniture, and on to cats who need to clean themselves then die.
We have day lilies in the garden too. We also have other poisonous stuff in our garden like yew. If the cats hung about the lilies I'd change my mind.0 -
Lily pollen, if it touches my skin I get huge great wheals. As a result I don't have them at home. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Fwiw, lilies smell of wee to me usually. I smell wee in a lot of things.:(:mad:0 -
Is there something you want to tell us? Some of us (not me usually) are broad minded.
Have you seen the amount of money euro mps make? Their expenses alone are enough to live a life of luxury.
I'd probably even be willing to turn up once in a while, if only to collect my attendance allowance...“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

This is what the inside of my knee looks like. I've no idea what it means yet!0 -
We saw MIL and FIL recently and gave FIL several birthday presents. Unfortunately we left one of them at home when we went to see them, and won't be seeing them again until August (they live 3 hours away) so we have now got a pot with lilies growing in it, chosen for FIL because they were LNE's favourite flower.
How should I look after them? Can they go in the conservatory with the calamondins or would that kill them? How much watering do they need?Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

I think it means you've got some bones and muscles and stuff in there. No idea beyond that, though. Interesting, though. Thanks for sharing it.Do you know anyone who's bereaved?
