A number of NP are having challenging times at the moment and I am thinking about you all...Chewy, Gen, LiR.
Thinking of NP and how supportive everyone is it has helped me come to a decision...if today's news comes good and I frack up barrels of oil from under my garden I am going to ensure those of you living interesting times get a slice of the proceeds.
As is Pastures luck, all is going well for her at present so she is not likely to get anything:)
Sue is getting two slices.
The reality is that knowing my luck the cost of extraction will outweigh the revenue and I will have to pay for it. Or, it will under my neighbours land and I will be blighted by noise and a view of industrial machinery.0 -
Had photographer round earlier this afternoon taking high resolution pictures of DS's arm in our conservatory because that was where the light was best. I held the background thingy and the reflector, and kept thinking this was something I would never have predicted that I'd be doing.
It's the first time I've looked closely at his scars for ages, but the solicitor wants up to date pics of them. The one on the outside of his arm has been very thin and pale and unnoticeable for a long time already, but the lumpy one on the inside of his arm that was pink at one end for ages has now gone pale all the way along. V pleased.
Not that it matters v much. He's not bothered by having them, and if he's anything like LNE then by the time he's grown up he'll be too hairy for anyone to see them at all.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Ah... I had experience of that when I was in warfarin and they kept on nicking my blood. Warfarin makes really impressive bruises too.
Tip... they don't like you calling them 'bloodsuckers' and don't appear to like you doing your Count duckula impression.
Long sleeved cotton t-shirts hide all proof of drug addiction, dontchaknow:D
I'm not that bothered tbh, I co
Under have worn sleeves but it was muggy and I wanted to wear something comfortable. More important today.
My bloodsucker:D. Was calling herself that, and was horrified when after a couple of vein collapses ( totally painless) I suggested we try elsewhere( she tried my. Other arm but I warned her its never that great) my good old vessel on the right I always prime did I think 11 of yesterday's collection vials on a few attempts. The other side mainly made a mess.
I have to buy a wire free bra for the ruddy MRI. Dreading that, hope I behave better than last time, doing the 'no nono' cat impression and saying Hannibal lector to them while laughing and crying at the same time. Yes. Not my finest hour.0 -

Dearest, dearest, what a kind thought. I want none of your oil slick though ( what extraction is this, doesn't mineral wealth all belong to the crown?). JustYOUR health and happiness.
I have had a good day ( you and bugs know what I mean otherwise don't want to talk about it with friends) and feel 'me' ish, just tired.
I ate crudite and an apple. Earlier. :j:j
Incase that didn't sit well I bought. Fruit tart which I should have given to RP but I ate that too.
. Feel heavy, but me-ish
:D ( have to eat three times a day for a week for short term pills....this will be quite funny if they work) 0 -

I hope you feel more comfortable and confident and safe this time, as well as just behaving better.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? For a few hours I was envisioning Southfork. Oh well if The Queen needs it more...
Lovely to hear of you eating, LiR:)0 -

Bloody marvellous, Apples are my favourite food I think, certainly my dessert island food, ( I used to almost live off apples before I was I'll, weekdays at least ) and I just feel great finally eating APPLE again.
Just thinking about apples makes my mouth water. Usually I quarter them NP but today I munched on the whole thing, and big dog ate my core with glee. I think the dogs miss apples too.0 -
