Sounds good, Sue... IF it actually happens. Did they ever actually start providing the 25 hours that they claimed not to know he hadn't been receiving?

Does this mention of college mean that he will be going somewhere else after GCSEs rather than staying on at the same school for sixth form?

Nope they haven't...all support appears to have disappeared since the move to the new build. His friends are giving him the support at present.

Yes, he is off to a dedicated 6th form college and boy is he looking forward to it.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I too am sitting in the hospital and the power's gone off! Aargh.

They're fitting me for the radiotherapy mask and also doing a CT scan on me.

We're having the strangest winter here. Today it's going to be 26C! That's not winter.

The more I read about schols that do this, I've often wondered if running a school across multiple sites ever works at all? Or runnning a shared sixth form on multiple sites?

Only in the sense that the pupils remain on one site and the school is the umbrella organisation, so skills maybe shared and staff but the pupils stay on one site for lessons.

Some 6th formers locally take one of their A levels at a different college, I don't know how many lessons they miss rushing between sites. I suspect they drive themselves.

My specialised subject :) Each LA should have a school transport division who should be able to set this up very quickly.

    That's all done then.

They lay me down on a hard plastic bed. Then 2 pretty nurses (one very) held me down and got a sheet of hot, perforated plastic.

They put the plastic over my face and riveted it to the bed to make a mask that holds my head still.

Slightly erotically, one of the nurses, kept gently rubbing my arm as they did this. It was slightly alarming actually although not unpleasant.

So 3 weeks of radiotherapy starting on 3rd June.

    Sounds saucy.

    Glad it went ok.

Glad that went fine. Sounds like a particularly surreal episode in what must have been a surreal few months.

Hope the next bit goes well x

It is all a bit weird, the whole thing I mean. I still don't really believe that I have cancer.

Boxed sets that come with the current Sky packages.

As long as you pay the extra for the HD package if you only have Entertainment or Entertainment Extra.

SO even if you pay for the channels that these shows are aired on, you only get the boxed sets if you pay extra. Typical Sky.

I don't think I would either. Looking forward to it being 'I had' rather than 'have'.
