The euros ballot paper was about three pages of A4 long and contained numerous different parties called things like "independence from Europe" "independence for the UK" scrap the EU" "no to EU" "I hate the EU" and right at the end, UKIP.

Can't help feeling the single issue parties have failed to notice their niche is already occupied!

I had a flyer through the door from one of the independence parties and was surprised to see that their USP was that they are the left-wing party wanting to leave Europe.

For anyone who is undecided but still plan to go and vote, there's always this:

Same here, though I was also delighted to have the option to vote for the BNP. Whose tagline was something about fairness in housing...

I hope everyone who wanted to vote UKIP accidentally votes for the Independence From Europe party who then return 25 MEPs or something ludicrous like that.

I was considering starting up a United Kingdom Defendants Party, campaigning for the legalization of prostitution and decriminalization of drugs...

I seem to remember the same row from last time - they have had 5 years to change their name to "A UK Independence Party".

I should be more careful with what I say about the BNP... They came out as the second most appropriate choice for me

Need an alphabetically better solution if you're going to succeed!

They came out 1st for me - I think there should have been a question "do you want to vote for a swivel eyed racist" - would have improved the accuracy...

    Why? I thought D came before I?

Remember, one hasn't seen the ballot because one hasn't turned out.

Ah... I had experience of that when I was in warfarin and they kept on nicking my blood. Warfarin makes really impressive bruises too.

Tip... they don't like you calling them 'bloodsuckers' and don't appear to like you doing your Count duckula impression.

Long sleeved cotton t-shirts hide all proof of drug addiction, dontchaknow:D
