Pastures, have we established what you need the sand for?
Just wondered, so we can come and chat to you about it when you are in Holloway (only joking). Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Toes .... sand is for toes ..... and immediate chair proximity.
One issue with sand is it can attract cat poo .... so I need to evaluate the area for that too....0 -

The main pathway's a contender too ... and round the shed. I'll be doing it slowly/slowly, not ordering 10 cubic metres and having it dumped

Get a bit of that fine netting that you grow sweet peas and stuff up and pin it over the top when not in use with some tent spikes. Cats hate stuff like that. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? It never even occurred to me that it might be illegal to take sand from a beach. I suppose otherwise no one would buy it! You learn something new every day.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0

SingleSue, there are questions Elsewhere that need you to answer them, please.

Thank you to all the NP offering to help. :TDo you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

raised bed with lid
Pn thinkipng of something with a lid occurred to me something square would let chair be ON the sand. Also, something that sort of size, with instead of a low cover lIe, that but a tall one
( resisting urges to say posh alert words like pagoda, gazebo or arbour)
Could have hooks on it for a sail for shade on summer, or a waxed something for shelter in less clement weather, so you could sit out there with your toes in sand on a wet warm day JUST like at the British seaside.
