We got home yesterday, but I haven't touched my computer until now, and my mother's just arriving so I'll be quick now and post a photo and more details later.
He's lovely, gorgeous, utterly wonderful, and has fair skin, reddish-brown hair, and is altogether rather sweet. I accept I'm a wee bit biased, but still in post-birth euphoria!
Well done - I bet it's nice to be home. We were immediately informed of Aethelbald's appearance.
All the best - we'll catch you once things settle down.0 -

When dogs and horses have babies One strokes them and tells them how good and clever they are. They seem to like being told they are good and clever. I have to admit I find it hard not to tell human friends how 'good and clever' they are when they have babies. I think they'd find it less enjoyable comment. But there it is, I bite it back every time:o.
When I was born and my dad called my mothers gay Best friend he asked how long I was and he sniffed and said ' hmm, taller than her mother I see'. I think ' good and clever' might have gone down better with Mater.0 -

For viva in particular, they have some sort of library operating on the platform at St Alban's train station. Don't know how it works but sounds interesting.
I have just ordered a kindle and found out that, if you also have Amazon prime, you can borrow e-books from Amazon.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Health Admin fails.
OH needed medical help yesterday evening (urgent but not serious), so we went to the local walk in clinic. They said the waiting time was an hour and a half. So fine he waits, then after 45 minutes they announce they are closing and he should go and find a local A&E instead! They obviously knew that their wait time would take it past the closing time, so why didn't they say that at the start? We then had another wait of another hour, but all then sorted.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. They bought the Daily Mail, but really wanted the free Lego toy, but didn't want to ask for it. Couldn't say "oh just this please", because they wanted the toy, but didn't admit to it. You could almost see the cogs working. Standing in line can be fun sometimes. Thankfully the store assistant stepped in "would you like the free toy sir"? "oh, yes please, what a nice surprise"..
Ahhhh, we are handing out Lego with the Daily Mail at one of my jobs and we ask each customer. Some people are coming up with numerous copies of the Daily Mail to get more free lego, but we are limited to 5 per customer.0 -

Ooh, I wonder what that is... not heard anything about it. Will have to ask around the 'library community'. Thanks silver.
Kindle Fire of some sort? If so, it's worth checking the free app of the day each day. I've had some interesting freebies that way. I'd also download ES3 as the file management system on a Kindle otherwise is a bit of a mare. I do like my kindle fire though.
ETA... Now reading ahead, glad your DH is ok!Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
