Welcome NeverDespairBaby,
NDG so very many congratulations to you, NDB and Isaac.
Much love to you and your little one x0 -
LiR,
That whole episode sounds ghastly although it does sound as if your GP is properly thinking of you as an individual.
How is FiR about returning to London whilst you are like this?
This is such a contrast to the weekend when you were shifting top soil.
((hug))
He's ok but concerned, he took care of some day to day admin for me too. We've been emailing a bit more than usual today. Maybe topsoil and day trip both was too much , felt ok at the time.0 -

Congratulations to Mr & Mrs NDG!
Probably king, its possible the 'royal' baby will still be about......0 -
I always beat myself up for not doing enough, so today I'm congratulating myself for making good progress. Think I'll do the same tomorrow. Even if I don't get loads done it's better than nothing and I do feel better for it.
Congratulations on the congratulations
I dig myself into massive holes of misery by regretting not having done work. It never helps. Somehow last year I managed a spell of not doing that - accepting it when it happened and being able to move on and get on the rest of the time. I'm trying to work out how to switch that back on again...0 -
Congrats to the neverdespairs! Looking forward to finding out the name
And hopefully seeing a pic
Hope that NDG, Aethelbald (and of course the rest of them) are doing well x
Edit: and thanks for the update lir0 -

My point exactly - at some point there will have been something that can be described as a 'leadership opportunity' or whatever else is required.0 -
Still no word on my house. I guess I should phone the solicitor tomorrow.... just to let them know I exist.
So far, from the point of view of seeing things happen .... nothing's happened.0 -
How is the thing-that-mustn't-be-mentioned going?
Well... I've unblocked a doorway, almost taken down a tree, had a half day tantrum on my birthday
Not well. I know when I get going it'll have to be all consuming and quite frankly there is a long list of things I'd rather be doing. But I do want the end result so I need to find a way again.
I have been upping my crisp intake so I think I'm getting closer to 'the zone' :rotfl:
(I've gone back to just not buying any as I just have no self discipline at the moment when it comes to crisps)

Just checked my phone.
Interesting to learn what the latest nice child will be like
Thanks for the update LIR
Congratulations to the NG family! Glad to hear that all seems well :T :beer:I've done a bit today
Well done on congratulating yourself - sounds as though you got quite a bit done!PasturesNew wrote: »You need a more balanced diet.... add in some sausage rolls and cans of pop.
And I was going to suggest chocolate for pudding!
In other news, my chocolate cake was really good :j No soggy bottom layer, hurrah! I need to ring my mum and let her know that her 'foolproof' cake lived up to its billing.
There were 8 of us who'd taken in food for the bake-off, so it contributed to a respectable number to be marked. One person did curry puffs - mince and onions with curry powder inside puff pastry cases; another person did a Victoria sponge in a design you've never seen before - lots of flags, edible glitter, mountain shaped, strawberries round the bottom; yet another person (18 year old lad who's one of our admin apprentices) did a millionaire's shortbread with amazing swirls of white / milk chocolate on top. He won, and deserved to!
We had a real downpour late afternoon at work. We discovered that the bay window roof was not watertight when water started pouring through a light fitting ... ... cue lots of those plastic storage boxes being spread all around the affected area ...0
