Are you able to have any contact?
I know it's not the same as having the person physically there.
Yes. We will text, email and some days there will be calls. In the grand scheme of things we will do OK and we are very lucky. Not a smug married, I think NP know me well enough to know this is authentic.
And our dog will be in a total decline as he is devoted to him. He was lying next to OHs suitcase in the hall, as he knows what that signals. he obviously does not know how long his 'dad' is away for though.
OH, DD and I went out for lunch today and had a family meal together this evening before he left. We are used to him being away, it just seems like a long time this time and we just love being together.
He is also facing a busy time and there are current complex politics in that region.0 -
I don't know why you have set yourself that challange, but a cheat would be to type it all into "notes" and then copy and paste.
I did some of the notes yesterday in the rehearsals, which was probably for the best.
I was working on a set of half finished notes (same problem yesterday), so it was easier.
Hurry with the votes, I'm getting nervous.
Viva, are we in agreement that this is the weaker of the two semis?💙💛 💔0 -
There's been criticism of Conchita this week.
She (he?) has an amazing voice, as therefore my full support!💙💛 💔0 -

Our previous shortlist - Daniel, David, Benjamin and Jonathan - all ruled out for good by OH apart from Daniel which is a cautious "maybe" (don't imagine enthusiasm, here).
OH had a burst of ideas this evening, though - Seth, Aaron, and Elijah.
What do NP think? Honest opinions welcome even if they are, "are you insane?!"
Never give your child a name they'll have to spell!
I like Aaron. No good reason, I just like it.0 -

Yes, definitely the weaker. It was hard to pick 10 on Tuesday because there were so many to choose from. Today I have a favourite (Austria), 5 others that I think are quite good, 3 I chose because I wanted to get to 10, and then still couldn't decide the final one.
Conchita was head and shoulders above everyone else. Brilliant vocals.
I honestly think that the western European gay vote will go for Conchita, and the Eastern European eurovision vote will go for Armenia and Hungary.
Hooray... results are coming...Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Many years ago when considering possible baby names Lydia fell by the wayside when someone said Lid-a-ya dustbin.
Siobhan went after my aunt (a Dublin woman) said at school girls would say "shovon your knickers, your mothers coming".

Viva is a LOT more correct about what will go through than me!💙💛 💔0

The road the unit was on, was the only road I knew in the area that didn't have a fatal shooting in the last 5 years.
I'm trying to imagine rival gangs shooting it out by All Saints Church on Beulah Hill and failing. Perhaps I'm on the wrong side of this postcode divide or things went badly wrong. SE25 has always had serious issues - deprived for as long as I can remember, but the shootings hadn't spread that far when we left London, but isn't SE19 still fast asleep? It has no train station, being up the big hill, which makes me think it bypassed the spread of 'inner city' malice that along the train lines that sandwich it out to Croydon.
I still thought Crystal Palace felt the same when I was there last year. Stuff changes, I guess, but it still felt a little quiet and left behind.
Those yellow incident boards. Don't see them out here!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
