I know there is a holiday planned at Christmas...but have I missed something?

    Thinking of you Gen.

He said some time back that the move wasn't forever..... I think moving to France was mentioned (although I didn't take any stalking notes).... so I figured they'd "end up" in UK/Europe and not in Aus.

This is the trouble I mentioned earlier in the thread - if you date furreners, there comes a point when you have to decide on the country to live in and stay.

    You Badass!

I've not previously been known as that. I suddenly feel like I should buy myself some body con clothes, get nail extensions, wear heels and listen to rap.

Alternatively I will drag myself off the sofa, into the shower put a dress and jacket on, modest heels and drive to work in silence.

FWIW I think I would feel happier if he 'came home'.:o

How mad/sad is that for internet relationships?

I thought the shores PN was referring to were the time he has to worry about his health and once he gets the all clear he will have a new lease of life...could be wrong tho.

Niks I envy you your single life so much right now.
    I think....

No, I meant when he leaves Aus..... I was thinking that when bad stuff happens to you, if you've the chance to drive away and not go back to that area, it can be a real fresh start.... as opposed to continuing to live around reminders.

I borrowed a rap CD from the library this week. Looking for one without misogynistic lyrics I settled on Maclemour and Ryan Lewis. I now feel really, really old. I also don't want to pop any tags whatsoever.

I do however get a kick out of Spirit being badass (which auto correct wanted to change to bandanas). Yo yo yo sis, respect. Or something like that.

Happy Birthday Nikks (belated though sorry)

Not happy with the school, can't arrange a pee up in a brewery and now to try to sort out their blooming mess with youngest's GCSEs with less than 24 hours to do it in.

Months been trying to get something sorted but they leave it until less than 2 days before the things start and expect a very routine bound, needs loads of prep of changes autistic child to be able to just go with the flow!

No time to prep him, no time to talk him around and calm him and it will probably turn out with me running between old and new builds for the next month and a very unsettled youngest trying to do well in his GCSEs.

    Arrrggghhhhhhhh and grrrrrr!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Yes, today is the anniversary of my birth. But I woke up feeling sorry for myself and very empty and alone.
Definitely. I work with some lovely people too.

A belated happy birthday from me too:bdaycake:. Those feeling always change, well, it's what I tell myself when I'm feeling meh.

I work with some lovely people, unfortunately they are all on the road and in the NP stronghold of Herts.

I've got another specialist appointment tomorrow, this time to see if I have tonsils cancer too. Every one is an opportunity for introspection. It gets boring after a while.

Good luck for today. Agree with lir, it probably is good that you are getting a bit bored, which is better than mildly terrified, which would be my default position.

Noo, go for the first option, time for re-invention - frighten the heck out of them at work.:D

I am booking a short break in Jersey, well a week, today, a few girlfriends joining me for the first 3-4 days and then a few days on my own.

So, picture the scene. You're a student at university. You can leave for 45 minutes of each day to wash & change clothes.

    Do you remember University ?

Washing and changing clothes EVERY day

P.S. Just visited oldest SS at Uni and I can confirm that nothing has changed.

I've got to go there at some point ... later this year. Been putting it off for years.

I'd not know what to do with myself all day ..... there's only so much walking round, staring out to sea, one can do.
