    That is very funny.

Last time I was in the UK, I heard an extended interview with Farrage done by Victoria Derbyshire. I found myself having to keep reminding myself that I disagree with him! He is alarmingly plausible as a politician and at the very least does a very good impression of being an affable man. I suspect he isn't, he merely understands what the British people think an affable man appears to be.

Garage is one thing. But the calibre of others drawn to the party and standing for them is often very lacking.

Garage DOES Understand image and appearance and plausibility, yet others in the party do not seem to. This in itself seems out of kilter to me.

That's one of the chief reasons for freedom of speech for all rather than the (PC) C21st idea that freedom of speech is only to be allowed for those you agree with: there's nothing quite like hearing what a racist thinks to put you off voting for them.

My take is that Farage is a creation of a pro Europe think tank who have spotted the best route to keep the Tories out of power at the next election and thus avoid a referendum. The pro Europe BBC definitely take.this view hence all the coverage they give ukip. Notice the lib dems are also in on the plan with the debates.
    I think....

Good luck getting to work michaels and other London-based NPs.

Hope you don't have too bad a day. I'm particularly thinking of NDG, hopefully not undertaking long walks again.

She isn't. I'm not going to court again now until after Aethelbald's born, just doing some quiet paperwork in a relaxed fashion. And if transport's awkward, I can just as happily do it at home, I don't need to go into Chambers.

DD is doing her Masters degree at UCL; London universities have exams almost all over London. Her first one is on a non-strike day, not so lucky with the second one. Bit of a nightmare!

Poor DD, just what you don't need on an exam day! Hope she manages to get there OK.

I had exams all over the place as well when I was at UCL - some at Friends House on Euston Road, others in the City. Once I got a bit of extra time in exams because of dyslexia, my exams were in the special "Cripples & Thickos" room, and that was in the main building at UCL on Gower Street.

I've been looking after the Generalissimos for the lats week-and-a-half which has been a labour of love but also quite hard work.

Unbeknownst to me, Mrs Generali set aside some of the school holiday budget so I could have some fun without the kids today as they have gone back to school. I'm going to use it to take Team Generali to the pub for dinner tonight.

Why not use it as she intended, and do something gloriously only for you? You like to treat her and pamper her sometimes, why not allow yourself the same in return for a change?

My Dad nearly split his sides laughing about the article last week in which it was revealed that one of their "EU taking our jobs" adverts featured an Irish actor rather than a British builder......

I wouldn't narrow it down to racists - applies to all sorts of muppets and idiots. Censoring them gives them a coherence and glamour they couldn't necessarily give themselves.

I thought it all had place names now, rather than a collective name like in the 80s before it was all redeveloped. Hadn't heard the term in years!

They do have their own names, but they still have a lot of features in common with each other, so it's useful still to have a collective name for the area.

This is saying ETA 18:37 (Copenhagen time), so see you tonight!

Hope you got some kip after your interrupted night's sleep the night before!

DH makes me lovely fruit patters and I am looking for inspiration for one for him for this weekend. :). Some of them are really cute. Sesame Street character faces if you had kids reluctant to eat fruit but keen on tv might be a good wat to go for example. :).

If I were more creative I would definitely be making tin foil in to a plate of a saxophone shape. This butterfly looks incredible! http://thewhoot.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Butterfly-Fruit-Plate.jpg

Taken me all day to create a blog post. I'm not made for blogging, I don't think.

I published it from the interweb, then managed to lose most of it the Wordpress app hadn't updated. I'm still missing an important link as I can't make links work on the inter web version and the app still has a version from 12pm.
