I'd always tended to assume that occasions on which one wears suspenders aren't really occasions which also call for pants at all.........much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

I used to prefer stockings to tights. They are far more Mse. You ladder one leg , one is still usable. They also put a swing in your step, which is also Mse as people offer to buy you supper a lot.
I don't wear either now, really no need.
I think chubby thighs look awful in stockings, like a couple of strung hams.

Never worn them. Not very likely to either!0 -
Grrrr. Some sort of hitch with the bit of the chain above us means we are going to be homeless. Our tenancy agreement ends on 17th and looks like we won't have completed by then.0

I've only ever worn them for more private occasions, never just normally out and about....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

Ah. I used to like them. I don't have to wear anything now, Horses are much less fussy about hosiery, but they are fresher than tights, I think, but .....you need a proper suspender belt, not the silly flimsy ones ( where the clips are a bit flimsy and can ping when you step up on to a route master ( which I was just about to lir and type as urethra:eek:) So something a little more for a hardcore or vintage market, metal clips, more straps. Finding one of these that's pretty is not that easy. Find ing one of these that's pretty and designed for the ' more apple shaped' I have found tricky.
I don't like too much synthetic gusset-Idge going on too often, so natural fibre knickers and suspenders are also a healthy option.

You've been on MSE long enough to know you don't have to move out....stay another month, there is little the landlord can do about it.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. 9pm ch 4 programme about a headteacher taming wild pupils.
I'm always amazed by progs like this. Not just that the wild can be tamed, but how these head teachers are spotted at interview.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
