The music ones do that for me, and sometimes the book ones too. Also sport ones when we have any. :)
You can add those to my list too :)
    And the gardening ones :)
I don't think I post much else tbh...:(

    I'm sure I've mentioned before?

I bought my mum's car from her just before I moved over here. It's my first car, she's called Miniver :)
Do we now call you mini driver?

So I went yesterday to Astbury Hall. It is a golf course which has been designed & built by KK Downing, of Judas Preist.

Interesting place. Each hole named after a judas preist song. Some work. Some really don't.

Clearly had a lot spent on it, & there are a lot of staff working on it.

Very new course. In 10+ years the tress will have grown & will create a few obstacles.
The "locker room" is like nowhere I've ever been, & is kitted out really posh! The "lockers" are wooden, & very nice. Leather sofa's etc too. Plush carpets and the like.

Also my first round with the new clubs. On a new course, with few reference points, & not knowing my game with them, was pleased with a 104. Bad start - 9 & 8, plus getting a 10 on the back 9 ruined it for me.

Need to play where I know the course to get a better feel for the distances I hit with each club.

Very interesting experience though. Properly a "how the other half live" experience.

Bloke with a lot of money and a big field works out where to stick 18 random holes. Yeah, I could do a "design" job like that :)

And what a team to be volunteered onto!
I've never had a dog. I looked after the dog of one of the families I used to babysit for once, for a week, but that was over 15 years ago now...

Dog-poo-doctor team! I'm happy to join in. If the foam's passing through the dog I'd not be too worried. It's if he stops pooing that we'd have cause for alarm (I think). Is there anything could account for it (e.g any old furniture with bites out of it?

Just realised we're probably not allowed to discuss medical issues on the forum, and I suppose this is sort of one. Obviously if there's any distress the vet's the one to speak to in any case.

I'm at the "all goes quiet, searches occurring" stage. 2-3 weeks for those.

Meeting the electrician there tomorrow afternoon for the electrics test. Just been to the bank to get the money to pay him.
Which is great, as I know the old patio doors have been taken out, & I've no idea what they've been replaced with (camera ready!).
I'm also hoping to measure a few alcoves and the like to plan furniture placement.

I'm continuously packing, & that's pretty much all done.

Survey happened last thursday. Report not rec'd yet, but when it arrives need to forward a copy to the sol.

Searches done/received - no problems with them.
Couple of queries outstanding, which sol has sent in writing to sellers sol. That letter was posted the day before good friday, so doubt any response will be received until this weekend or even next week (which suits, as the last ISA matures friday 2nd, which means all deposit money is available!)

Assume the next step will be to attend solicitors, sort paperwork, pay the 10% & agree a date.

I'm assuming everything gets a bit manic towards the end/after the above?

    I'm surrounded continuously by boxes!
