And some poor hapless sap has to settle a HUGE bill for that loss.... which isn't very fair as the win was in the bag.... so it could have gone the other way for them for the same price.

In my opinion, this hit/miss job is worth minimum wage.

Just pulled some clothes on, to hot-foot it across to my letterbox.... I've received a "new home gift" from an NP... and it's lovely :)

It'll get used because I do use the items associated with this gift and haven't had one of these items before.... I've previously "made do" with half an empty ice cream tub :)

So, that's enough information for the sender to know .... and for you lot to scratch your heads and think "!!!!!! did she get?"

It'd take some time to pick out the questions/answers and put them into a grid to see what's what, which I'd do if my PC were better/faster ... but it's not.

It's odd, I think, that in this country we insist class is only a big issue here.

There are so many other countries where it's very important, sometimes more than here - such as India, or parts of America, or China, for example.

Don't worry. They won't venture in here so they'll never know. :)
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Ah, but they will .... if somebody's got it in for you they'll trawl through your last 10-20 (or more) posts just to find something to whack you with on another thread :)

Some (stalkers) will even keep up with everything somebody posts, simply so they are already armed when they come looking for you :)

It turns out that I live in Singapore. I'm not entirely convinced that Las Malvinas are to scale. Ditto Gibraltar.

On the subject of which, Gibraltar used to play in the soccer tournament of unrecognised countries along with Tibet, Isle of Wight etc. Now they've been recognised by FIFA so will be in the next European Championships qualifiers. It could be interesting if they get drawn against Spain some time.

I was quite surprised, the tabloid press don't normally do the difference between bling and posh let alone the perceptive analysis of the Middleton put down.

I do struggle with what car is 'U', probably used to be a several year old Mercedes or volvo estate (or even Peugeot family estate in some families), what is it now? I remember my mum(my) once remarking to someone in the village that she was surprised her new car was a classic merc sports car rather than a brand new slk....
    I think....
