One of the bedroom has pink chairs in.
They are like no chairs I have ever seen. What would NP use them for?
The same as I use one of these:

:rotfl:
That made me grin. ATM we have a mountain of clothes over the foot of our bed as I am part way through a sort out. DH pointed out this week its the longest sort out I have ever undertaken, and I pointed out that as the floor at end of the bed is full of holes making it pretty unsafe it doesn't matter we cannot reach foot of bed easily,:rotfl:0 -

What is SFW?
How did you know about this chair, supplier etc?0 -

I think most people knowit doesn't take much imagination to work it out.
I object to the chair with reins and stirrups on equestrian basis. I am fed up of seeing people propelling them out of the saddle, their legs pinging out, though that's not as bad as hauling them selves up balancing on reins. I suppose at least a chair doesn't have nerve endings, but I'd find it off putting, thinking about the technique tbh.
Seems quite an attractive piece of furniture other than the colour and that impossible to clean deep buttoning. You'd have to clean it with q tips, which would be boring. The non buttoned versions are much better practically I think.0 -

PasturesNew wrote: »It's MOT/service day today, so I'll have to go out later.... that's all the major spends out of the way as all mine come at the same time. In the last month I've had: new windscreen, 12 months tax, car insurance, MoT and service. There goes £600 I'll not see again
£11/week to have the car sitting awaiting my instructions. Not bad. It's the hidden cost of depreciation that's the sneaky cost though ..... say £25/week it costs for me to have a car sitting around doing nothing, just waiting in case I want/need it .... so probably still cheaper than trying to combine buses, taxis, home delivery costs and car hire.
This was the case for me; I took 6 months' tax once in order to make that at a different time of year (and then reverted to 12 months' tax thereafter) just to stagger the outgoings a little.
It doesn't make economic sense for me to run a car, as I'm fairly central to town and only do 1000-1500 miles per year. But it gives me complete freedom and flexibility. For me, that's almost priceless and I can afford to run the car, so I can choose to do so.TBH I think that it's probably the emotional turmoil as much as the actual illness and op that has done me in.
It is easy to overlook or underestimate how mentally exhausting it can be to deal with physical illness, whether acute or chronic, and how long it can take to come to terms with it even if you feel as though you're coping underneath.
Be kind to yourself and have a lovely, relaxing, enjoyable break.lemonjelly wrote: »Searches came back over the weekend. All clear.

Excellent :T
My neighbour did the Marathon, having stepped in for his son in law who had been unable to do the full training. He did it in 4 h 21 minutes, and has a fine amount of sunburn on his head and back of his neck. It never occurred to him to take sunlotion with him!0
