Short version is it looks pretty promising. Long version will have to wait for a keyboard.

PN - Go for it, good enough is a lot better than nothing.
And nice to see you back.
Effing hell. Just as I buy (nearly) a house outside London on the grounds that I am just about happy with a 1 hour commute, they have decided to move the office further away on the other side of London.

    New job required.

You seem to like the job - have you exchanged yet on the house? I could help you out with a nice house in a commuter town to the N of London...

Great news and thanks for letting us know, we can all relax a bit now - don't go getting run over by a bus as all those endorphins cut in now you know you are invincible...
    I think....

BTW, how many pages since 10.30 last night?!

Anyone else badly affected by either the pollution or just the pollen? I have had several days of cough, sneeze and to be honest gallons of snotful misery :(

Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Great news Gen. Will look forward to hearing more later. :)
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

yay:T, I think we were all wondering how you were doing this morning. My wake up time is 5.15 and I thought of you in the doctors just then.

Disappointingly the tune of my life was You're the one that I want, ONJ and Travolta, Theme tune from Mash for my 16th, Goody 2 shoes for 18th - eww to all of them.

That's the pits after all the hassle of finding a home you can finally move into - must feel like back to the drawing board.:(

Nice to see you back PN, good luck with the house.

Be careful what you wish for ... I bought a bike... and nearly every time I took it out the chain fell off (except once, when I got a puncture). Shop said I was "riding it too slowly" - and I pointed out I have to ride it slowly to get the stamina built up to ride it faster!

So now I only take it as far as I am prepared to push it home :)

You can buy bicycle trainers for £30 from amazon that basically turn your bike into a stationary bike and let you build up the needed stamina from the comfort of your own tv...
