Well, you are entitled to think that way. It's stupid, of course, and ignorant. Maybe this is why you can't earn more?
I remember how this went last time. You turned up on a thread ranting and raving about how unfair it was that people didn't appreciate bankers.
That quickly evolved into your insisting how much better you are than other people because you have more money than them, which ended up with you boasting, without any hint of self awareness whatsoever, about your Ferrari, a car that does serve a useful purpose I admit, as it promptly alerts the world in general to the probable presence of a self serving big headed cretin behind it's wheel. Which certainly wouldn't conform to the stereotype of you as a banker in any way would it?
Well I must bow out Bill, as you have brilliantly played your trump card again and pointed out how much richer you are than me, and are therefore the only purveyor of a valid opinion, on the whole internet probably.0 -

I just can't imagine under what circumstances I would end up buying a car like that. Maybe if I had a terminal illness AND I got a lot of pleasure from sports cars, but for me cars are functional things. The most important things are that they have to have enough space to get our bikes in the back, have a sliding (forward) rear seat so that our dog can sit near us and are good value.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -
And no need to pretend that you aren't interested in money when demanding more of it, as the OP is doing.
I'm not a civil service and quite happy with my present situation. But it's not everybody that thinks money is everything like you obviously do, so I just answered your inane comment in the same way0 -

Just for you rugged.

Well then your memory is little better than your interpersonal skills.
And, again, it is you, now, who is ranting about how it is unfair that you aren't valued more highly. It's funny. You are funny.0 -

But I'm not demanding more money, RuggedToast is.
Quite why you'd try to twist this around to suggesting that I'm the one who cares about it, well, it's not clear, but it's only the OP so far who has complained about his earnings.0 -
So going to university, probably free at tax payers expense, those that drive so called punnets to the packers paid for. Then these so called punnet drivers then continue until well after the Public Sector worker retires, at 50 after a fart, to pay for their gold plated pension, while they scream that a new teacher on £24,000 pa should get affordable housing!ruggedtoast wrote: »Well now look here. I've been to university and got a Desmond.
And what do you mean by manufacturing? If you were an engineer you'd be doing very nicely, but if you're one of those fellows that drives the punnets to the packers, or pack the packed punnets on a pallet, it's not surprising you aren't earning too much.
No I do not drive the punnet truck, but I note the ammount of Public workers who are on line during the day.
And if it were not for the punnet truck driver, the wealth in the economy would not generate the tax to pay for your employment!0 -

So are you saying that Nurses (public sector) are more important than Farmers (private sector)? Because that's the point I'm countering or are you just arguing for giggles because you have nothing better to do?
Nurses wouldn't exist without private sector employees. It's a pretty obvious point, and yet you still feel some compulsion to argue against any post mentioning it. That fact doesn't make nurses a lesser profession, but it certainly shoots holes in the nonsensical idea that private jobs are 'less important'.Having a signature removed for mentioning the removal of a previous signature.
