I'll be there, and a few others from Pepipoo.

This Aylesbury case is interesting, because we knew nothing about the defendant or the case beforehand, his message to the PP was the first we knew.

This is someone who must have downloaded the guide, and used it to write his own defence, and stand up in court. I would have gone along as lay rep as the court is quite local to me, but as it turned out, I didn't need to.

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.

Mmmm.... I wonder how many newbies will sign up to claim they gave CCJs against them from Parking Eye as a result of this?

And as for if they lose tomorrow, what do you think their next tactic will be?

Nice and refreshing to see that Prankster's guide is so helpful even to those who don't post here or on Pepipoo. Well done to him.

Awaiting the news for tomorrow's case - no doubt you will report as soon as possible the outcome.

If someone does go and decides to provide a twitterfeed from the Court (if allowed), can they post up their twitter account so we can all follow (I would go, but being unemployed, cannot afford to travel to Cambridge).
