Thanks. Not sure what went wrong with mine..0 -
Haven't read all the thread to see your earlier posts, so forgive me if this isn't relevant, but....
Went into branch with OH as her online application said she needed to provide ID. They were amazed when I said I had opened my account without any such requirement, but suggested it was maybe because I was already a Lloyds customer and TSB and Lloyds are still linked......
Oh and BTW well done with your mortgage overpayments!!!!!0 -

Thanks! I'm working towards earlyish retirement!0 -
Do you have to switch to paperless statements on all TSB accounts or can you just switch to paperless on the Classic Plus accounts to get the interest on the Plus accounts.0

I have had the same thing, the application said I was successful after I submitted it, it asked me to create a username and password too, but I got an email saying they are now processing the application pending approval. I'm still waiting!
I just got the same thing! Applied on the Sunday, one for me and one for the other half. Both instant acceptance online then yesterday other half got an email saying his card etc is on the way, and I got one saying "we are processing"... Do they just randomly decline some accounts, even after accepting them initially? A glitch in the new system perhaps0 -
i applied on monday morning about 2am ish i was up late, on wednesday i got all my account details and am just waiting on some code they send in the post.
my question however is will my initial deposit of £2000 count as the 1st months funding of the account ie the £500 they require.
also i cannot see it anywhere but is this an introductory 5% offer like nationwide or a long term on going interest rate?
thanks0 -

I got an email yesterday accepting my account and confirming my sort code and account number and a separate email confirming I was registered for internet banking. I can now log in and fund my account, but I cannot open a another account through internet banking until they send me an activation code (so I've got 'basic' internet banking at the moment). I have never been a customer of Lloyds (or TSB) so I am guessing they wanted to do a few extra checks (I didn't have to provide any ID in a branch though) or they have some sort of back log.0
