    Good morning.
    Hope everyone is well.

I've had a lush nights sleep and am feeling full of energy. :j
No idea what I'm doing today, the weathers a bit pants here. I'm sure lil stink will still wanna go out so I'm guessing it's a welly boot kinda day :)

Welcome to Tiffanyjayne and niceandchilled :hello:

I tried that before with a computer desk and the cot but nobody ever replied to me (think my local group is full of snobs!)
The car has now gone to the tip and suddenly I feel better as I've remembered the seat cover and side panels are actually missing.
I was still really close to taking the stuff back out the boot and putting it back in the bedroom but didn't :j

Good, its gone now and as you say you feel better. Small steps and all that, it is difficult to declutter your own stuff because you do have an attachment to it, but well done.

Which British comedian of the 1970s/80s had the catchphrase 'Ooh chase me chase me'?

    Duncan Norvelle?

Why do I know that? Blimey I retain some useless information, I blame family tv time as a child on Saturday evenings :o.

I could have done (stuffs gone tip now) and I did try too offload some stuff via Facebook but nobody was interested. I think there's only so much I can try and I only have so much spare time.
My loft is also already full of those 'put away until I can find a good home' items. This is why I really need to pull my finger out and deal with the stuff that's headed towards the tip. I just find it really hard sometimes :(
It's so sad when it is an item of value that you know someone could use but if your local tip is anything like ours they recycle all they can so it won't necessarily just go to landfill.
With regards to decluttering your loft maybe set yourself say two hours per week and keep at it until its cleared. It will be really time consuming but think how fab you will feel when its done. Also you never know what you may come across that you could be using now:D

Just got off my backside to go to the kitchen, caught a glance out the window and it's a blizzard out there

    the snowflakes are huge....

Ohh was planning a couple of miles walk along the beach, I see it's been wet outside, but was it snow???? Not too many miles away from you Westie.
Will stand in the garden in my dressing gown, if I can stand the cold there I will get dressed and go.
    Good morning one and all.
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.

"ooooh, I could crush a grape" was another quote?
  • Good morning all, another busy day coming up so I have put the beef in the slowie already, someone told me to cook it on a bed of carrots and onions so I am trying that today.

Does anybody know where I can buy individual bowls and plates in these colours? Can't believe how hard it is to find bright coloured crockery but I'm not paying this price for them! I've decided to make my kitchen a bit more rainbow looking. I've tried T's, A's, Ikea, Argos, Debenhams, BHS, Dunelm, Matalan but no joy.
